I carry a dyad (full size) in the right front pocket, and a shabaria inside waistband in the small of my back. The shabaria is firmly clipped on, so I won't lose it while I am running as fast as I can from any possible confrontation! :-) Not that I wouldn't use it, I would in an instant, (and yes, I...

I have a "card" made by Tekna that I bought maybe 10 years ago... sliding blade, sharp on both sides...
Tekna had some interesting ideas.... too bad they sold out..

Other tools? Well let's see..... Shabaria in right hand pocket, Micra in left hand pocket, Gerber Multitool on belt... Photon light in watch pocket, Samsung digital voice recorder in shirt pocket, and Lamy pen in shirt pocket.
All just tools, but I would be lost without them! :-)

Thank you Sal, "It sounds like a "Tuffram" coated aluminum model. (If the rivets are rounded over and stick out of the scale)." That certainly does describe it, and I thank you again for both your time, and your reply! Man, when you want to know something... go to "the man&q...

Help needed concerning Police Model

Bought this police model in 1995... can't decide if it has alum or ti scales.. I thought the box said ti, but now I can't find the @#$%^& box! It has four exposed and rounded rivets, G2 blade.. beautiful smooth polished finish on scales.. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks, Windwalker/Dane

My wife and I have been married for 44 years, and part of our secret is we really like each other! Also love, of course. The other part is that we NEVER keep anything from each other. It doesn't pay.... She collects what she collects, and I collect what I do, and that pleases us both. Of course, wit...

Hi Bladezelot You came back to Sal with a well worded, well put reply, and I admire you for it.... We all jump to conclusions now and then, and I'm sorry if I suggested your steel knowledge might be lacking... Anyway, welcome to the Spyderco Family of users. Me, I'm waiting for a Shebaria to come in...

I thought Sal gave a resonable and honest answer... not "slammed" in any way. If you had known that much about steels, you would probably have said 440C. I find no problems with the blade on my Rench, and for the use I give it, 440C fits the useage. Why go for high cost exotic steel in a t...

Hi Matt, Out of 18 Spydercos, only two are serrated. An aluminium cricket, and a civilian. I wish I had the plain blade on the cricket, it would be more useful to me... I find that the normal things I do, open letters, peel apples, etc. are easier with the plain blade. I guess for a last defense kni...
