Go with the glock 19 or Glock 26 if you want 9mm, or get a glock 23 or glock 27 fOr .40 s&w

Ditto the above.

-Maybe a G30. That's one I don't have, but wouldn't mind having.

Nothing wrong with Sig Sauer, naturally.

Chris Reeve and Victorinox.

Canal Street Cutlery looks interesting, but I haven't tried one yet.

Tempurpedic, for about a decade now.

LOVE it.

We did try the Select Comfort, and didn't like it at all.

Seems to me that much of the underpinnings of the discussion may be seated in the world view that sees oneself and one's fellow man as bacterial equivalents.

In fact the inherent value, or lack thereof, of human life is the foundation for many "political" hot button topics. :(

I've been watching, and my opinion echoes what has been said. I was stunned, knocked off my pins, blown away that Jake quit. His demeanor in general was also shameful. Maybe it was editing? I tried to tell myself that, and I expect (-there's simply nothing else I can imagine) that that is what he wi...

@ tortoise: For some, no explanation necessary for the iconic Explorer model. Also, less complications means the watch is less likely to need expensive repairs down the road. (Must admit though, I'm glad Rolex came out with a slightly bigger version.) I respect your opinion and your taste, and of c...

Wow very cool Doc! I've been tempted to buy a Cold Steel throwing shovel as it doesn't have a pivot. Apparently the folding aspect can be a good thing. What are your thoughts? Think one of those CS ones would come with an acceptable edge? I have a Cold Steel Spetsnaz shovel. I chose it specifically...
