Re: Ways to prevent thieves from stealing packages?
I had a neighbor once that built a large wooden box for their porch. The box was locked with a combo lock and they would include "delivery instructions" on the order for the postal worker (that provided with the combination). That, or they would include the instruction in one of those seco...

Re: The Forgotten Model? A Perfect EDC? Yeah The ROOKIE
If Spyderco were to bring back a Rookie (or mini police 4) - how would people feel about double liners? I'm fully aware of the intention behind keeping the Rookie slim, but it does make for somewhat less comfortable cutting at times.

Re: The Forgotten Model? A Perfect EDC? Yeah The ROOKIE
Just have to throw my voice behind a mini-police 4 -- though I do like the swedge. Not pick about handle material, though it might be nice to see a little tapering on the corners to give the handle a slight palm swell. Would be comfortable in the hand, easy in/out of the pocket, and offer some nice ...

Re: Mini Police4
I would love to see a mini-police inspired model come into the line up. I love my rookie sprint and carry it constantly - though I do find the small, partially hidden thumb hole leaves it slightly more difficult to open then some other models. Mostly, the edge to handle ratio is amazing. I love havi...

Re: What models should Spyderco come out with next?
I would like to see an edc size blade (e.g. Delica, dragonfly) with a Victorinox-style bottle opener/screw driver on the other end.
Would be just wonderful.

Re: Name your own Sprint Run!
Rookie > k390 > navy g10 I've had friends of mine tell me on at least 3 occasions that they thought that the ROOKIE model was close to being an absolutely perfect EDC folder. They said it was perfect in size, scope and all around versatility. I even EDCed an ATS-55 ROOKIE model for a short period o...

Ask Sal: how did you get started?
Sal - You design wonderful knives. I'm a sideline fan of industrial design and production - so I find it great that these knives are designed to be produced in volumes. My question is: how did you get started learning how to design and produce knives? Did you start with a belt grinder in your garage...

Re: I can't get used to the dragonfly wire clip...
I only carry my Dragonfly lose in my pocket, which is not such a big issue due to the size. Clip carried previously, but about two weeks after purchase the clip unscrewed itself and when I pulled all the pieces out of my pocket one half of the screw was missing (the female side). Could probably ask ...

Re: Spyderco Enforcer 3.6'' and Spyderco Detective 3.2'' and Spyderco Inspector 2.8''
Maybe it's not kosher to post sketches (please delete them, if that's the case) but quick thoughts for a Detective. 3.5' handle with jimping and a fairly aggressive choil for more secure grip. No lanyard to keep the clip deep. Either keep that great, slim police-profiled blade - or maybe a subtle ha...

Re: K390 Offerings
I make another vote for a k390 Rookie. Greatest EDC size with that blade/handle ratio. Tip up/tip down clip options would be nice. Fitting to roll out with the new police, too.
