Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Cool blade  Just purchased an orange one myself. It's something magic about these, I can't have enough of them. How does the Dly2 work for you ? Marius Agreed. I have seven now, so I guess that says everything! :D Love the DF2. https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4199/35040280960_c4393d5483_b.jpg W...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
My baby who I have given **** for a year, and is my pride and joy! It came with uneven bevels, like, visibly half shorter and steeper. Took me lots of patience of on and off working on it with diamond rods. Stopping every time I felt I was rushing go on for a while slowly but steadily, and I'm very...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Just traded a benchmade griptillian for a pm2 with black blade. Looking forward to getting it, the grip is nice but I prefer the pm2. How well does the coating hold up on spydercos? This will be my first black spydie, I have a lionsteel that scratches fairly easily. Very well in my opinion, but I h...

Re: Considering zdp 189
Hi Bryan, We sharpen many knives for customers. If they are not really dull, we often just sharpen them on a Sharpmaker. I carry ZDP, HAP40 and S110V quite a bit, and maintain them on the Sharpmaker. Using a hi-performance knife is an experience (if you like blades) but keep in mind that sharpening...

Re: School me on Cru-Wear
I recently bought(got) one of the sprint run Grey pm2 cruwear a local vendor here apparently had been holding back. They were asking a crazy markup but there was a 10% discount on everything incidentally, and my girlfriend sneakily bought it for me since I had my birthday last week. Only problem I f...

Gotta admit, reading your reply before the quote made my heart jump there for a second :Ddreadpirate wrote:What? You did not receive yours yet? :rolleyes:HarleyXJGuy wrote:So much temptation to make a fake post about how I just ordered one.
To many folks around here would flip their stuff though. Very exciting release.

Re: Caly Hap40 Sprint in Forest Green
Well for better or worse, that does clear some stuff up. Thanks guys! I've put one in over there as well but I'm quite reserved about it. Ah well, at least it found a place which sells the sprint cruwear pm2 still. Though it'll probably be months before they sell it at 280 EUR Haha, Why are the pric...

Re: Caly Hap40 Sprint in Forest Green
I've been looking at a smaller Knive and thanks to the knowledgeable gents here settled on the blurple native 5 ( already have a pm2, m2 and m2lw in 110v). If I don't get the final one to complete the blurple g10 line (is blurple really the term it landed on?) otherwise it drives me nuts. However, o...

Which small EDC would you recommend and why?
Hello fellow spydermen, I've been in need of a smaller edc because my Delica has been through **** and back and sharpened, reprofiled and too much hard use and the blade I learned to sharpen from so.. it was my first spyderco, what started an addiction I didn't know existed. Fortunately my coping gr...

Re: My most loved and well used ZDP Delica 4
I think I should have gotten a zdp one too. My delica vg10 had been my buddy and where I went, it went. Now in the beginning touching it up wss easy. A kid could do it. But no way I'll let a kid touch my precious, and there was some ethical reason but I fail to recall. . . http://i.imgur.com/3nDUuSJ...

Hi Dodgie, Welcome to our forum. It would be helpful to know where you are in a discussion like this. We've been working with our export distributors to try to come up with the best solutions. We even had some special group meetings in January. The main problem seems to be taxes, VAT's, and other a...

Re: Spyderco prices in Europe exploded !
Prices in US also went up, like almost every year. But this is just few buck, which is nothing to compare with what you see in Europe. Just wondering why you guys are not buying in US. There are quite a few reputable dealers, who will ship in Europe? How bad are custom dues? That is an option But y...

Re: Spyderco prices in Europe exploded !
Same here in the Netherlands. Most online shops I know of with Spydies in stock are really pushing the retail prices to a new high :( Knivecenter has been very good to my wallet. Importing the pm2 was more expensive due to levels in import tax but it was around 40 I think. With shipping by FedEx I ...
