Re: Swayback Lookout Thread

Ordered one at Bladehq. I’d prefer Knifecenter because of points, but their site had issues today. Re the clip ... I agree it’s ugly. I will remove and leave it off, or go aftermarket. No big deal. SO glad it’s got that steel interface in the lockbar. I wouldn’t have ordered if it hadn’t. Good job S...

Re: Reveal 5 Live!

Love that the Swayback will have a steel lockbar insert. Ordered.

Sold off my Spydiechef because of that ti stick.

Glad to have this option.

Now ... bring back the Bowie with a lockbar insert and CRUSH sales.

Forgot about this one. I was planning on getting one, but guess it wasn't that important.
Yep, me too. I had an alarm on my phone for 30 minutes out. In the yard messing with bonsai trees ... totally forgot about the knife until it had sold out.

Oh, well. Too many knives anyway.

How much and are they for sale ??
I bought the copper scales from Flytanium, and then sent them to Matt for the engraving work. All told about the same price as the knife for the scales and mods.

I received mine Friday. I like it a lot ... hopefully I can address the “poppy” comp lock on the one I received. Everything else is great.

Re: REX45 Lil' Native Alert Thread

Okay, so I’ve already ordered copper Flytanium scales for this knife, and have sent them to a knife mod artist for a bark/wood pattern.

Give me the Lil Native!

Re: Watu...AKA Lil Chokwe

Heard from Robert at nationalknives earlier today, and he said the one he played around with was a “drop free” blade.

So, yay.

Ordered!

Re: Watu...AKA Lil Chokwe

Does that really make or break a knife purchase? Action is not a priority  Chances are you just need to tinker with the pivot anyways. Soooo many people skip great designs, mostly backlocks just because their not super fidgety. A real shame. One of the great things about the compression l...

Re: Watu...AKA Lil Chokwe

Hi Sal,
In this video, when Michael closes the Watu it reminds me of my first gen Kapara (not free-dropping). Does the Watu have the same type of pivot as the revised (CQI) Kapara pivot?
Thanks,
John

Yes, it seems the Natives stick around longer when they’re dropped at the same time.
