Hello chinook,it is forbidden to make knives in the school(some students make it but they are older than me)and i havenot much equipment at home but i want to find a back stand (especially to make knives).

I have buy some pads, they are greys and they are too fine for create a Satin finish like yours I believe they are three kinds:
-Very Fine white (I don't know if they are 3M)
-fine grey
-rough red
What colors do you use in the factory and do you use your belts on a back stand???Thanx

Serrations
I have 2 serrated spydies(Harpy,ss Standard)and i would know if it's normal the serrations point are round and they are not really sharp(i always use 204).

I'm curious about the spyderco's users age.
personnally i am 16 and I had my first knives(Laguiole,Opinel)when i was 7 years old.I had my first lock knife (it was an buck 110 imitation)when i was 9.I had my first spyderco six month ago.And then I have 4 spydies.

Hi FL_fisher.
Cf is really beautiful but the grip is not optimal. G10 is light,strong,corrosion and shock resistant ...and the grip is greatly famous even when wet it stick in your hand but it is not too abrasive.your civie will be in a collection or in your pocket(in the last case i will opt for G10)
