Well mine came in today, and they will be going back if possible. Very disappointed, they look nothing like everyone elses Koa scales. Mine vary from lighter to darker with prominent, almost white colored streaks in between colors. The scales look like a perfect fit, and very well done...the grain/...

Alright!! This was such a cool project! Here is the turnout of Sal's scales. I decided to make some custom Spyderco themed inlays as well as giving a sample of the new UV high gloss finish that is now an option for the Koa Watu scales. Sal is having three of them on display in the Watu case a the SF...

I’ve seen a few wooden aftermarket scales on Spydies and I have to admit, I never really cared for them, But WOW does that watu look good in those new pants! Great work here! The wood really complements this design excellently.
