Re: Any update on the Kiwi 4?
An update seems the best way forward for the model. It fills a lineup gap for a really slim folder but needed non-peelply g10 scales. I would vote for the full "deaconization" of the model of possible but even polished g10 in a color other than black would be a major improvement. My vote i...

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
Wow, looks like those amazon 52100 Militaries came into stock and the price jumped way up. Kind of regret not ordering one when the price was way low but shown on backorder... oh well. I wonder if anyone here actually ordered and received one at the cheaper price? I have tried twice and both times ...

Re: To Honor?
Does "the Deacon" have a pocket clip? I am guessing no.
Stainles for certain, bolsters seem a must, and a mid back lock without a dent as others have mentioned.

Re: Modest proposal: Lum Tanto with HAP40 C46GBORE
Can Spyderco do micarta? I would love that as a handle material but think I read somewhere that this was an issue. No matter the handle material I would love something polished instead of peel ply. Put some antique ivory micarta on it and I'm in :D They still do Micarta on current fixed blades, but...

Re: Modest proposal: Lum Tanto with HAP40 C46GBORE
If it would help make the business case I would be happy to commit to buy this in both HAP40 and Super Blue. Just running a one off knife like the Lum Tanto is difficult because it's not a production knife, whereas I imagine making a pm2 in different steel isn't too terrible, it's just a change of m...

Modest proposal: Lum Tanto with HAP40 C46GBORE
There seems to be high demand for additional models made with HAP40, and there have been repeated discussions about a new run of the Lum tanto folder. My modest proposal is to put those two items together and bring out a new sprint. Decisions would need to be made on slab or laminate steel, and what...

A return of the dodo seems like it would be well received given secondary market prices.

I am still waiting for a cf and zdp version of the current kiwi 4. I think it could outsell the current g10 version.

If I am running the grill or the pit then a southfork is my top choice. If I am just there to eat, ti fluted Millie if my top choice for length and ease of cleaning.

Re: 52100 Military, what are your plans?
I had planned to sit this one out with all of the other releases on the way but all the pics convinced me one should be ordered and I happened to check CS during the short window they had them up. I love 52100 in custom kitchen knives, it will be interesting to try it in the Millie platform.
