So have pretty much all dealers gotten theirs and sold out now? I don't think I saw a BHQ release yet... but I could be wrong. Definitely missed the other places that dropped it

Been tempted by these as well - I've enjoyed flytanium on my delica, but didn't love the ones for the PM2 and was severely disappointed in the benchmade scales they did - they used to internally mill those and then stopped doing it without saying anything and still charge the same for them. I'm sure...

I also noticed that although the hole pattern aligns on Byrd/spyderco the screws are larger on the byrds which means we can’t use any Spyderco aftermarket clips. This is unfortunate. I wish they’d just use the same size clip screws.

These are cool. I’ve never set out to buy a challenge coin, however in my time in the knife community I have acquired a few. They’re pretty cool and I would be interested in seeing more from Spyderco.

I would actually also like the screws and clips to be made the same as spydercos. I don't think this would be a bad thing for the brand and could help for folks who use aftermarket clips etc. I recently picked up another byrd and was disappointed that I could NOT use some of the aftermarket Spyderco...

I decided I finally want one and messaged DLT on Instagram to ask how to make sure it’s the updated version... they told me they don’t have any of they’re-CQI Kapara in stock so it’s a guarantee. Maybe that’s the same for other retailers, dunno, but DLT is definitely a safe source for it. The Kapar...

I like the small-ish size of sprint runs. It makes them special. Does it encourage flippers - yes, but does it help your *collectable* hold value - also yes. Yup. Well received indeed. Despite carrying mostly smaller knives these days I still want one of these too! Micarta and cruwear are among my favorite materials.

The opus is gorgeous and with great ergos, had one for a moment, just larger than I typically carry. I'd love to see a 3' version one day.
