I'd like to see it in dark blue, but brown would work too.

You guys definitely need to stay out of Kansas. Around here, if it doesn't fit tight, it is gone in sixty seconds when you step outside. Unless you like a chin strap, that is.

I've had less corrosion and better edge retention on my CPM D2 Spydies than on either Queen or Benchmade D2 knives which are presumably ingot D2. YMMV. I've heard Dozier is a wizard with D2, but I don't have any of his knives.

It didn't take long for my Military to shrink to a normal size. Now I wonder how I got along with dinky little knives before it came along.

My Winamp playlist currently contains 435 entries, from Anthrax to Bach (Toccata and Fugue in D minor, played on a huge pipe organ the way it should be), AC/DC to the Texas Toad Lickers, Bachman Turner Overdrive to Type O Negative. No Rap, no Country.

Very seldom do I receive a new model knife that is exactly the size I thought it would be. They are almost always either bigger or smaller than I expected. I took delivery today on a lightly used Harpy. As large as this model looms in discussions here, it is smaller than I expected. IT is a little s...

Mom noticed mine was thinning out when I was 14. It was gone by my 19th birthday (it never recovered from my boot camp buzzcut). Anyone who tells you that baldness is passed down on your mother's side is lying. There is no history of baldness on Mom's side and no history of hair retention on Dad's s...

Sal may never forgive me, but the one thing I didn't like about my Stretch II was that hump on the nose. Mine is now pointed, and I like it much better that way. I carry it every day and use it often. The grind is thin enough to make it a real slicing machine.

Bear in mind, it is NOT one world. Different cultures have different standards. Where he is, the "sport" is as much a part of life as golf is here, perhaps even more so. He came here seeking advice on a sharpener, not to recuit fans for his sport.

The fact that it is acceptable there, and a part of your cultural heritage, does not make it any less distasteful to some of us. That said, I know of no better tool for sharpening the inside curved blade pictured than the SharpMaker. I would probably get a set of diamond rods as well, as a coarser, ...

Thanks for the reminder, my birthdays have caught up with my guns, so I need to buy a couple more. ;) Luckily, I haven't been bitten too hard by the flashlight bug. Probably because the nearest Surefire dealer is over a hundred miles away. Watches...I have a few, but I wear my Seiko Automatic 200m d...

I guess the Mayor didn't learn anything from the Morton Grove/Kennesaw comparisons. Morton Grove, a suburb of Chicago, banned firearms. Kennesaw, a suburb of Atlanta, passed an ordinance requiring every head of household except those who objected on moral or religious grounds to have a gun and ammun...

No, but it is a pressurized solvent. It depends on what kind of crud you have built up. WD-40 works pretty good for flushing out greasy grime. I generally just wash them with hot, soapy water (or my pressure washer if they are REALLY bad) then blow them out with compressed air and put a drop of Rem-...

Hi Yab, We noticed that some of them had thicker edges and more obtuse angles than we like. We spoke with the makers in Seki about this a few weeks ago. We like Spydeco edges to be thinner than many other companies (or makers) like to produce them. Getting good thin edges needs to be a constant foc...

That's right, nitwit, over 200 years ago, the Framers had just fought a bloody war to gain independence, fought in no small part by militias. The lessons of tyranny were fresh in their minds. They didn't want "to limit the tools available to elected officials wishing to regulate civilian uses o...

Does anyone out there have a G-10 Endura4 and a micrometer or dial caliper? I would like to know what the average thickness of the blade at the top of the edge bevel is. In an earlier thread, I had posted that my stock ZDP Endura measured .050" behind the edge, and some thought that must be a f...

I ought to keep my fingers to myself on this one. I am not a fan of stainless handles. I have quite a few SS handled knives, and I don't carry any of them regularly. I've tried many times, but I've never learned to like them. For me, they are mostly two-hand openers, especially in the small knives. ...
