thanks for bringing this up.
I figure threads are the property of Spyderco and should be their decision to delete or lock. Not the Original Poster.

nilblank welcome. I don't have a sharp maker but if there is enough room. try a piece of tissue or paper to take up the slack. Place small piece over the end of the rod and insert the rod. I'm not suggesting forcing it in. Hope it helps

I was sarcastic in my post to Dc and to be honest. I wish I didn't feel the need too. I still believe DC may have had and still does have a fair complaint which there are channels provide by the maker to remedy the situation and in doing so may have been given something extra. I didn't know Dc modde...

It is for the better. People still suffering but they have a voice now and we will get there. We all ...

where was the heat you speak of. I honestly didn't see it. I suppose we should elect a diplomat of the forum to speak in one voice to questions like DC posted. I guess it only really required 1 answer. Sorry to hear sir your knife had a problem. You should send it back to Spyderco . You may want to ...

It's important to learn from the unintended consequences of any choice. You blame others for the way your thread turned out. You will not help resolve the situation you unintentionally created. You start a thread focused on you... I dunno man... I'm kinda glad you're leaving. :o very observant +1 -...

spewing negativity in public? Listen buddy, i have done no such thing. I merely said the un-sensationalized events of what happened when my own personal Tuff failed. If you cant stand someone saying anything negative, that is your issue. Wow , I am sorry to hear you were so offended by forum member...

Charlie , Yep my poll was skewed. I figured the OP must have taken a similar kind of poll. considering everyone he knew didn't like the compression lock. The truth is I haven't seen another human being in 3 days. By the way like in my first post in this thread. Me myself and I do like the compressio...
