2020 isn’t too far off. Plenty of time to start throwing out ideas.

Fluted titanium with Damasteel please. :D
Where do I sign up? :D

I'd also love it with fluted carbon fiber though (its so hard to pick between hypothetical handle scale materials!)

Re: Gifts for 7yo twin girls

I've never used any of the Byrd knives but just from looking over the spec sheet on BHQ the meadowlark2 looks like a pretty solid knife for that price, and for a first knife, looking forward to hearing what they think of them.

Re: Help! I need to be talked out of getting a Sebenza.

So I just wanted to follow up with you guys on this thread. I did order a Sebenza, which is currently on making its way to me through the mail. specifically I got the small version with some very nice looking wood inlays, which means it has the drop point blade (I'm a little disappointed that CRK do...

Can someone help identify a mystery steel on an old Benchmade?

Hey guys I need some help. So my dad carries an old Benchmade that he has had for over 20 years, as best I can tell it is an some sort of first production Griptillian or something (I'm not super familiar with Benchmade knives), it has a partially serrated tanto blade, and a blade length of about 3 i...

At some point wouldn't it just be easier to get a locking or fixed blade knife?

Re: paramilitary 3

The Para 3 is my absolute favorite knife and since I picked up the M390 version it is the only knife I own 2 of. The comp lock is great and in my opinion executed even better than on the PM2, because on the PM2 the blade tang can nick your finger when closing it if your finger is too high up on the ...

Re: Is the Ladybug worth it?

I own the ladybug and the manbug they are both great slicers, and the ZDP-189 version will hold an edge really well. My only "complaint" is that they are too small to spydie-flick open. I highly recommend either the manbug or the ladybug.

Re: Mantra 3 Release?

Same here thought about getting the sliverax or one of the other previous comp lock flippers but I hear they all had some problems with the comp lock pinching your finger when deploying the blade with the flipper, and the flipper tab smacking into your finger when closing up the knife. So I’m hopin...

If your putting 300 pounds of force onto a folding knife the lock breaking is the universe's way of telling you to rethink your life.

What's your opinion on customizing your knives?

Hey everyone, I wanted to see what you all thought of customizing knives i.e. aftermarket parts, regrinds, anodization, mirror polishing, acid washing, that kind of stuff. Re: Shipping of internal parts

I don't really have a problem with the current policy on shipping parts but, I do wish that information about what hardware is used in the knives was more readily available, so that I can for example, find a replacement washer or bearing from a 3rd party easier, if they were damaged. This would also...

Some people like strength, some like ease and convenience, some like strong self close. As Kpatr4 said, it gets down to a matter of preference. That's why we make to **** many locks and we've got a few more in-the-works.
Can't wait to see what you guys cook up next :)
