I think Arc'Teryx is pretty much the best outdoor clothing there is, but VERY expensive.
I do think it's worth it most of the time though. I currently only have one softshell, but i have a feeling my next jacket for outdoors will be an Arc'teryx.
You need to be out a lot for it to pay off, though.

There's a knife i have ABSOLUTELY NO NEED FOR, but will get at least one of nonetheless. The original is one of my definite favourites, i have a sneaking suspicion this one will be rigth up there, too.

I really wish i could be there to stop by and say hello, Ed!
Unfortunately, it's a rather long swim... And i have checked the prices of planetickets to Colorado... Not going to happen this year, i think :(

Anyways, good luck on the show, and i'm eager to hear more about the viking dagger proto!

If it's for collection purposes i would probably go for the Khukuri first and the Sage second.

If you're going for a user...

I say Caly3 or Sage.

Otherwise, i believe Yablanowitz gave you the answers.

It's a shame it has the pitting on the blade. Considering who has done the engraving, i'm totally agreeing with Paul here. I would guess the estimated cost by the seller is about what it would take to have something similar done.
Not my cup of tea, but the engraving looks top notch!

And maybe some without the pepper?

Great collection of Salsas. I sure wish i knew of a Ti. one for you, so you could complete your collection. I'll keep an eye out.

2000-2001 According to the timeline, the FRN version of the Pro-Grip has been around since 1995. However, when first introduced it was called the C33 Pro-Venator. SKU number and name changed at later dates. It appears in the 1998 catalog as the C33 Pro-Grip, and in the 2000 catalog as the C13 Pro-G...

Ok, so we have "proof of life" for V suffixed variants in the 1997 (G-10 Police) to 1999 (CF Cricket and D'fly) period. This is consistent with my hunch that the "all variants" option was introduced in 1997, at the same time the number of numbers was increased from 100 to 200. S...

As a collector, the correct box can usually give me a lot of information. And that's why i prefer knives with boxes. I do have a few without, but i'm always looking to change those out with boxed ones. As a serious collector, one of the things i appreciate the most is knives who come as they came fr...

I think you might want to update that wiki. The VG 10s were the first production, as indicated (and evidenced by the VG 10 markings on the ones that I purchased). They were not offered only to collectors. A few were bought by individual law enforcement officers in my agency. I still have one new in...
