I don't do shots, but for a regular drink it comes between Ron Zacapa 23 and Elijah Craig 18y/o Single Barrel with a bit of water.

Thanks for all the great info monsterdog! But I can't find mention of a Kiwi 2, only a Kiwi or a Kiwi 3. Is this with a stainless steel, carbon fiber, or jigged bone handle? I actually made a mistake, but thanks for Deacon for measuring the other one :) I meant the all stainless non-locking kiwi 3 ...

On the Para 2 I simply face the knife down, use my index finger to press/pinch the compression lock an it virually closes itself (gravity). I'm having a hard time trying to figure our how you get your fingers in the way  This is my favorite lock design. It's supposed to be on the YO2. Wis...

Upon opening the shipping box I was greeted with a note written on the back of one of his cards and banded to the Spyderco box. I am really looking forward to this folder :) I like the idea of covering the hole up, but how about keeping the hole, but needing to unlock the knife for opening so it could definitely only be done with one hand? Maybe a compression lock that also engages in the closed position. Of course in Denmar...

A friend of mine got a light weight Delica, I thought it was an awesome knife so went to the same store and bought a SS-SE Delica. This was probably almost 15 years ago.

I guess the lesson they want to teach you is that you shouldn't call the authorities in a situation like that. Which to me is even worse. Sadly this is what people will do because they face fines or jail time for protecting their loved ones, which in turn will make government officials work even har...

They don't want to be left behind by modern European-like cities such as New York and Philadelphia. Its all about image, and anti knife/weapon laws are on just the ticket these days.

Logger says cut off toes to free himself

I wonder if he used a Spyderco.. "DENVER (Reuters) - A western Colorado logger said on Wednesday that he amputated all the toes on his right foot with a pocket knife to free himself after a 7-ton trailer landed on his foot, trapping him in an isolated forest." Rest of the story: http://new...

Management will rarely, if ever, go back on a decision, they're like politicians. Can't ever repeal a law out of fear someone will question why they put it in place to begin with. Maybe you can suggest that people who have gone through a safety course can use better knives, or have management purcha...

Unfortunately they can currently only print certain materials, so printing CPM-S30V is still pretty far off I think (even though it s a powdered steel). Wow, that is amazingly cool. Just think, someday that technology may well trickle down and become cheap enough to have a type of printer like that ...

I think Spyderco would benefit from moving from sprint runs to a custom shop for the more common sprint models, like Manix2, Para2, Millie. So keep a bunch of blades on hand in different materials, handle scales in different materials, allow the user to say "I want an M4 blade with Ti scales&qu...
