The people who used rocks to crack nuts open, then fire, spears, and flint rock knives loved tools. We got our genes from these tool loving people, because uncle Ooog who didn't like tools did not get married. A Spyderco knife is a beautiful, well engineered, high tech tool. How can we not to love ...

just to be sure, if YOU loose YOUR knife, or get it stolen, WHY should jump spyderco in, and get you a new knife? :)

I was wondering how many of you carry a knife regularly but never use it? I carry often knowing I will unlikely use mine. Often I carry just because it makes me feel good! I love spyderco's! i carry knifes on a regular basis for almost 11 years now and the days i didn't have one on me can be counte...

+1 if you're talking about a chaparral 3 because the titanium version is a little bit too steep for me!
but I really like the blade shape it could be a nice worker maybe even with S30V!
maybe if I'm lucky I'll get a chaparral 2 for a reasonable price!

what kind of sharpening system do you use?
i've a lansky sharpmaker and a more solid homebuilt version of it. it's easy to tell an angle after using the sharpie method described above!

no offense, i was born in germany and raised in austria and i don't have to expect people jumping out of the bushes and mugging me or worse. or at least we don't expect that. we've a pretty strict gunlaw so there's a really small probability that someone pulls a gun on you. i currently live in the U...

imho vg 10 is a good steel, i've a endura4 ffg and a delica4 and changed the bevel angle it's a little steeper now, the edge on the endura kept chipping so i changed it back to the stock angle. the steeper angle on the delica takes it! maybe there are differences in the HT? i also love my s30v blade...
