Update that my Advocate was delivered 10/08 from BHQ and this example is CQI.

Interesting that they don't even know what stock they have on hand. They have told a few of us that they are all not CQI.

There is no price fixing. Some people seem to be losing that fact in the discussion. Companies can sell the product at whatever price they want. They just can't publicly advertise it. Think of it as collusion amongst the largest knife sellers, through their influence over Spyderco, to remove price ...

Agreed on the blurple. Horrible color. Never even thought about buying the S110V version because of it.

Minimum advertised price.

So it is price fixing which is being done at the behest of the major online stores.

Hmmm. Well, I suppose I will no longer be buying any more Spyderco knives, unless on sale.
