Does anyone know how to get in touch with Phil Gibbs?

In an earlier post Sal mentioned the name of Phil Gibbs. That he makes some custom Spyderco knives. Does anyone have a phone number or email address to contact this guy? Thanks, Ron.......

Tom, you call Kelly at Spyderco and tell her you want to be in the Collector Club. 1 (800) 525-7770 ext. 219. Kelly will tell you what numbers are available! Hope this helps, Ron.....

I am sure that FRN would be easiest to add color to, but the G10 & Carbon Fiber is what most Collectors want! There has been plenty of talk of the Military with a G10 Camo or Army Green. That would be great, but to stir up the collectors, we need "MO COLOR"!!! "LOVE DEM SPYDIES!&q...

Sal, I think rather than a whole new model that could take months or years to come out with, I would like for you to pick the model that you feel best conveys your philosophy and design to a Spyderco Knife! Then make a limited edition model of it with your signature in Gold on the blade, like you di...

New Color Scales Scheduled for the next Sprint Run

I would like to know if there are any new Sprint Runs in the schedule with a color G10, like the Native Blue BladeForum Model? I personally would like to see more of this type of product from Spyderco. Even the use of color with carbon fiber, anything but black!!! How do the rest of you guys feel? &...

A Question for Sal about the Carbon Fiber Civilian?

I know you must be close to production on the Limited Edition Carbon Fiber Civilian, but my question is: Could you use any other color carbon fiber besides black? I believe you would sell a lot more to the main collectors if you gave us a choice of colors. There are so many nice carbon fiber colors ...

I posted a photo at this link. Have not been able to post photos in the Spyderco Forum. Maybe someone could tell us how to do that.

I got my Military Forum today as well! It is absolutely stunning! I can't believe what a small difference of a Pearl Logo can do to the looks of a knife! Sal, all kidding aside, you need to do more of this type of knife. It just has that special KICK that gets you when you look at it. Great job to S...

When did they stop making the Worker w/2 screw clip?

I was trying to find this in the Spyderco book, but it only told when they started making the Worker (1981) not when they switched the clip. Thanks for any help, Ron.....

JuiceD, Welcome to the Forum! The first thing you need to decide is what is the purpose of the knife? I think most guys would agree, if the knife is for everyday carry, the G10 scales are more appropriate than the stainless. Also, Spyderco carries so many different GREAT models, you may need to cons...

Brian, I would not presume to speak for Spyderco, but I talked with Patti today at the Spyderco Factory Outlet and she said they would probably be ready by the end of the month. They are scheduled to appear on January 15th, but more than likely the end of the month. I can't wait to get mine as well!...

Hey Sal, how about it? It looks like one of our NEW forumites has a good request and he is backing it up with a request from the military for a camo Military. Even if it's not a regular, could it be a sprint run? Please??? Thanks, ron.....
