Re: Let's Get Serious: G-10 Handles Are Just Hard To Beat For EDC uses

I prefer g10 over frn, but only when i have worn off the initial "grippiness". I don't like the dry scratchy feeling of New g10. Out of the box frn feels a lot smoother in hand. I work in construction and have rough hands and New g10 feels like sandpaper. Who needs that much grip anyways,...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

The UKPK CF... I have to travel a long distance by car within Germany (we may not carry locking OHOs in public, similar to Great Britain  ). I didn't carry it the last 3 to 4 years. Now I'm enjoying its overall appereance again! :)

Re: Just one problem with wire clips

I find deep carry clips in general seem to catch on things more, not sure why but I’ve only had that happen to me with deep carry? I guess it’s because they tend to have quite a bit less tension. I like deep carry on some knives but for me retention and comfort are more important factors. I also va...

... and I love that blade finish Agree to you. It has a nice look and feeling. Yes, next to my One-Eyed Jack, it’s my favorite small locking knife. Getting older (61 now), it seems that the preferred knife size is going down... :p ... Love ... the thick wire clip. I'm not sure but it looks like the...

Lil' Native Comp Lock – some thoughts after over 3 months of EDC

When reading the thread „What Spyderco is in your pocket today??“ I suddenly got the „inspiration“ for writing the following... How it all began My Spyderco experience started in 2003, when I purchased the old trusty Native 2 FRN pinned construction with plain CPM440V blade. It's still in my collect...

Hi Larry! Would you please be so kind to tell me your exact adress? :D It's not so far from Freiburg to Helsingborg... :) Anyways... Merry Christmas to all! We can meet in Amsterdam 2019 and discuss trees and Santas :D I think discussing knives and having a drink would be a better idea...! :)

Re: UKPK question

Hi David,
it's absolutely legit! I bought mine in 2008 (no jimping). The CF version I own has jimping on the choil. I think the CQI was done 2009 or 2010.

Re: Info on my new Delica ?

https://i.postimg.cc/Dw07xX4c/Delica_11.jpg I own the same model... It was manufactured in 2 batches, 600 pcs. each. In an old catalog of the German importer ACMA it was announced 2005 as a Delica 3 sprint run with ZDP laminate blade (sadly I don't have print infos anymore... :( ). It was then deli...

Re: Smallest spyderco folder

A lot of good suggestions so far! A couple more good small options would be the Chicago and the Cat. The Cat was a favorite of mine for a while. We have a winner, the Chicago is small enough for my purposes and still looks like a full sized Spydie. Good choice! I'm still very satisfied with mine......
