Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
Shame on you, you bad influences! And what is blurple? Presumably a merging of blue and purple? Figured I should know since you bad influences caused me to order the S110 Manix. Yeah, that's it, it's all you bad influences. Totally. I'm absolved of any fault. :D

Re: The new homepage is terrible
I use a Dell running Windows 10 Home. I agree the header or whatever you want to call it is too large. I've got antique eyeballs. To get the pages comfortably readable I use CTRL+ twice to get a 120% view. The header takes up about 1/3 of the screen. When I tap the down arrow once or click the scrol...

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places
Definitely a good deal. Maybe a great deal. Probably not a crazy deal. But I take crazy deal as a thread title and the goal being anything from good deals upward.

Poll: Flippers
I'm thinking about an Advocate or Southard or Positron soon. Wondering what percentage of members "give a flip". :)

Re: What size Torx?
It's between a PM2 and a Yojimbo 2 and a Manix 2. I've got 3 of the Lynch clips. I originally intended to put one on my Assist before looking at it and seeing it isn't compatible. I'm not sure if I'll change all 3 of those or maybe a couple and hold one in reserve. I know I don't have anything going...

Wish I'd known that before I ordered but I also added a Sharpmaker so I get free shipping too. The two knives will be for my grandsons and the SM for me.

Re: Anyone else surprised RFP carry is so common?
I tried them again this morning and the Manix will not fit. It's just a bit too wide. I've never tried Duluth Trading. They are a bit too proud of their stuff for me. Maybe one of these days.

Yes, those are the pants I have although mine seem to have a somewhat narrower knife pocket than your photos. I'll have to check it again. Maybe I didn't hold my tongue right when I tried it.

I used to say if I couldn't live in Texas I might choose Australia but that was 40 years ago before they went insane with gun and knife laws. It's very sad to see such left insanity there.Bloke wrote:We have a zero blade length limit!

Shepherd Hills in Lebanon? Not sure if they do sharpening but they are the largest Case dealer in the nation so they definitely know knives.

Tru-Spec cargo pants, special knife pocket on each leg at 3 and 9 o'clock. Unfortunately, only a skinny knife like the Caly will fit in it though.

Re: Kudos to Spyderco Customer Service
Yes, I understood that and I agree the kudos are well deserved. It just seems like a dealer that can do great by you one time and be so unconcerned the next is one people should be aware of so they know who they are dealing with and that the odds could go either way.
