The buck rush isn't a lock back.

It is a fun little knife though.

If you can find a picture of a spyderco lock back when it's taken apart, you'll see that both the lock cutout in the tang and the "tab" on the lock bar are both square. Most other lockback knives, including the Buck 110, have a more "V" shaped lock cutout and tab. The V shape wil...

Considering the size and importance of the current events in the knife world, they might be extremely understaffed for the amount of work they have at this time. I think you might be a little rash in saying this is "marginal work", there is always the possibility that your messages got stu...

A single email is easy enough to get lost in the rush to gather support against this possible legislation. I would urge you to send another email, as any help would be very much appreciated.

Looks like the original ladybug to me.

The Ladybug 2 was a somewhat limited production of serrated sheepsfoot bladed ladybugs, but they had the same handle as the original. They kinda look like a mini-rescue.

First on Race Day? thats what i like to say lol Indeed. Though, you gotta look to what each company is good at. Ford was never really that good at making small cars or trucks. I think that's why they're bringing the Fiesta over from Europe. As for the larger cars and trucks, I don't think you can g...

I did something similar to my Salt 1, I put it flat to a sharpening stone. While it's no longer a true hollow grind, it's neither a flat grind or a convex grind either. It's somewhere in between. However, the edge is much thinner, so it works great as my "traveling mini-chef's knife". Oh, ...

I got one of the lanskys, and while it's not the greatest, it is cheap and easy and gives decent results. I think it'd go great in a backpack or similar for "touch-up work" since it's effective enough, but cheap enough that you won't worry much if you loose it or break it. As for the Spydi...

As much as I'd love to get one, it's slightly longer than I can carry legally in my pocket (3.5 inch limit). That's not to say I wouldn't get one, but to say that I'm not sure.

If it were SE, I'd certainly consider getting one a little harder :D

I'm kinda sad to say, I'm not the most motivated worker at my job. I like the company I work for, the work I'm doing is somewhat interesting, and I usually have enough work to do, but I just can't stay focused because the majority of my job is sitting behind a computer. I grew up on a farm, so I kno...

Yes, the whole knife was built to be rust proof. There have been some reports of rust on the H1 logo on the blade of the Salts, but that was only because of contamination during the laser etching process. I also doubt the pins are made of H1, but whatever they are made of they have survived many dif...

I'm a huge fan of the cricket. There is no better knife for opening up packaging such as boxes, envelopes, and even clam packs (though it works better if it's SE). The cricket is the only multi-generation knife that I have owned each version of (well, except the CF). The strangest thing is, I think ...

... Cobrajoe: yes, that point has been made, and is valid. I am not fully convinced that this effect is strong enough to invalidate my point, but the evidence about the warranty returns has changed my views to about 50/50. Well sure, people might buy an expensive custom instead of a (relatively) ch...

There is also a flip side to the "cheaper designs inspiring people to buy more expensive knives" theory. What if someone buys that knife, and completely hates it. It could create the thought that "all knives that look like that are bad". As humans, we do tend to think in absolute...
