Has anybody else noticed, that ever since Vivi left us... sharpening threads have really taken a nose dive? The community lost a lot of knowledge and experience.

Re: Which Endura is your ideal all-arounder?

For me I don’t like combo edges, and only like full serrated for limited tasks. Just a preference. I’m also big on the FFG. Also, the Endura is my favorite model, I use it exclusively except rare and specialized tasks. (And I own 6 now, after the s30v ones come, which I’ll mention in a second.) So m...

I’ll always choose frn over g10 in pretty much any model. I like the weight, the texture, I like how it feels in hand. I prefer frn over g10 in just about every way,. Chocolate and vanilla i guess.
Same here.

Re: S30V Teal Endura - MGE Wholesale Exclusive

Have to kinda laugh. In another thread, S30V in Sage is not premium enough. Now, S30V in Endura is like **** yeah baby. S30V, the most premium nonpremium budget high-end very good mediocre stainless steel, since 2001. Yea, crazy. I’ve been happy with s30v on any knife for a while. It’s perfect for ...

Pre-order for these is live at RIver's Edge Cutlery.
Thank you for mentioning this. I was able to get two. And happy I didn’t miss it. Been waiting for a s30v Endura for some time. And with sals mark, it just looks perfect. Thanks again Julia

Re: S30V Teal Endura - MGE Wholesale Exclusive

My computer can´t open the "wholesale" - internetpage... can´t be that they are constantly overloaded due to Endura-requests.. ?! ;) I´d be interested in the S30V, not necessarely the color. But I´d have a spare pair of green Endura scales... You could always rit dye it. I migh...
You really eat with a grip so far away from the blade ? I know the hump isn't ideal for a table grip, so I thought the Chief would fit your hand better since it has a continuous back from tip to butt (no smutty joke)
Yea, for some reason whenever I'm cutting something on my plate m...

Re: Native chief vs Endura?

Hey Double D, when I got my Chief, after one day I contoured the G10 scales and it went from good to excellent. You can try it, it's not hard, just some sandpaper, but wear a good mask for sure. Awesome to hear!. I think I'm definitely going to do it. Hopefully I'll be able to snap a bunch of pictu...

Re: Native chief vs Endura?

I gotta say the chief doesnt give me any hot spots, but then again we all have different hands. Definitely true. My hands are small/medium in length. And the spot that was killing me was on the underside, right where my pinky would rest when not using the finger choil. Which I noticed I hardly use....

Re: Native chief vs Endura?

So the chief came today. Two of them actually. I buy things in pairs. Quick shout out to the spyderco factory outlet. Very fast shipping. I'll be posting things as I learn them, instead of all at once. Including pictures. That would take too long to write up and take/post photos of everything at one...

Speaking of loupe's, what would you guys recommend for a cheaper offering?. There are so many cheap ones on eBay it's hard to know where to start I don't buy much off of Amazon, but this loupe is 30x & 60x, and has an LED light, it's an amazing value for $8.99 w/free S&H... https://www.amaz...
