The Spyderco "Hyker", as I had envisioned it, and started subtlety posting about a couple of years ago or more now - on the Spyderco forum(s)... What is the "Hyker" you ask? A spyderco Delica/Salt knife, Hi-Vis handles, highly stainless steel blade, at or better than VG-10 wear ...

Re: Spydercos for steak knives?
Quick update for those who find this thread searching in the future - I did grab both a SE K05 and a SE/pointed Z-Cut about a month ago. Been used on plates for red meat a couple times and chicken a lot, as well as on cutting boards occasionally for prep. They're both great as steak knives but the ...

Re: Sage 5 compression lock
The Sage 5 LW has a bushing pivot, the PM2 etc. Have a stepped pivot. The non LW Sage 5does not have a bushing nor stepped pivot. With break-in and possible pivot adjustment, the pivot action should improve on yours.

Wartstein, I think this immortal thread was from before you joined here. https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=80429 It's full of "Bloke"isms. Ha haha! :D :D :D That thread led me to a truer understanding of my fellow forumites. :D Not sure how I stumbled onto this one, but i...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
The mail carrier brought me a new pair of scales. I oiled them up, eased some rough bits and fuzzy edges (needs a little more still) installed them and went for a walk in my local woods.
