Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

My K390 Delica has been a steady companion at work for a while now. I rotate for fun once in a while, or if work conditions or demands shift, yet the K390 Delica is unobtrusively good and just performs.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???

I've been on this GEC and Waynorth kick the past few months. I really lucked out last week- I hadn't expected to get the white bone Waynorth...

.... but here it is with my perennially most-precious Spyderco:

Re: What knife makes you smile whenever you carry it?

The Kris and the SpydieChef are always pleasing. As much as i like and use my Glesser designed Spydercos, these two are top of my collection, along with these two Waynorths.

Re: Dual grit sharpmaker

Is there a preferred side to make coarse or fine based on the user's handedness? I swap them over after about five sharpenings, as the coarse side tends to lose more metal over time from the more aggressive rod. Switching the rods balances the bevels out again before it becomes too wonky. Thanks. M...

Sal leaks something vague. Excitement ensues. Then the wait will continue.

:rofl :cheap-sunglasses

It looks slim and with a smallish round hole.

Could be very cool. Scale contouring is curious.

Re: Aftermarket DLC coating experiences?

I tried searching and couldn't find it, but there was a member here that got his K390/G10 Police 4 cerakoted. He'd be a good person to talk to. It was DLC, done by Josh at REK. looks like Marty Bill hasn't been around here lately tho. The P4 DLC job I had https://www.razoredgeknives.com/ do is comp...

Re: Dream Salt Knives

I am a big proponent of a G10 Native 5 salt as well as a G10 Chief salt. I'm sure I've asked for both before.

The SpydieChef has long been my premium salt knife, but I'd also like a premium salt backlock other than the Siren.

Or eat more ice cream, obviously. That would tighten up my shorts.
Or get shorts with suspenders.
Both options should give you a charming appearance that I'll expect would have some innate decriminalizing properties.
Would you go with lederhosen, Norrona, or maybe Filson for more chafing?

Tried to talk myself into this knife several times: cool factor, retro factor, volcano texturing, never had any 4v..... just a really cool knife all around. Just not for me, size-wise, so I'd rather leave it for someone else to enjoy. Grabbed a Native Magnacut PE instead to go with my SE, which I t...
