Squiggly E or W on Golden made blade.

Tried to search forum and google but no results.

What's the story with the symbol on blades made in Golden, CO? The one that looks like an E or W?

I thought you cut yourself with your Tenacious. Spydercos are like Lay's potato chips. You can't have just one.

My Tenacious has 4. But my Mini Manix only has 2. I would have guessed the other way around.

Is 4 washers better than 2?

I like the wire clip. They seem to really dig in and hold better than the solid smooth ones. Also, they don't attract as much attention and the wire doesn't show scratches where you're all the time bumping into stuff. I would have to say the wire is my choice by far. I've never really tried one. I ...

In my opinion, the only real difference would be at the tip. The FFG being slightly thinner. If you look at the weights of each, the FFG model weights 0.2 oz less (5.7 grams) I prefer the FFG blade both for looks and cutting. As long as you don't use your knife as a pry bar or screwdriver you should...

Very cool. I had never seen one before. I looked it up and it is called a Manix 83mm in the on-line catalog. Congratulations. Yours seems to have a lot of chips in the rear part of the blade though. Maybe you can sharpen them down. Oh wait! That's a spyderedge. :) Great blade steel. I was expecting...

I started using the DMT Aligner before I read about burrs. I do five strokes on each side, then switch.

I'm satisfied with my results so far.

I'm fairly new to Spydercos myself. I just started last year.

I too like the Orange scales on the Sprint runs Spyderco does now a and then. I'd like an Orange Manix 2. But they are $$$.

Welcome to the forum. The only antidote for the desire to buy another Spyderco is to buy another Spyderco. However, this antidote only lasts a short time. :) Please post pictures of the mini-Manix when you get it. Jack It came today! Here's a quick pic. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e125/aquama...

In my (limited) experience, the screw will probably just show up in the mail, if you provided an address in your email.

I asked for some washers and I received them a few days later.

Be very careful about that by all means :( Because a really popular local flea market here in KC is selling fake Spyders, fake Benchmades, fake Bokers and a few fake Kershaws. And the sad thing is that many bargain hunters are buying them :( Now I've gotten lucky a couple of times at Gun Shows in p...

Bitten by the Spyder.

So, there's a local thrift store that sells a lot of Amazon returns, ect. I found an Endura last summer for a great price. I really like the FFG blade. But it's a little larger than I'd like. I found a Delica online cheap but it wasn't the FFG grind. I carry it mostly when I wear cotton basket ball ...
