Re: 2015 Forum Knife Announcement
I am getting jealous. Mine is schedule to arrive on Tuesday. For me the color is beautiful. Of cause not as beautiful as dark green, still one of the best. :) I don't have mine yet either. Being only one state away from CO, I usually get my orders quickly. Didn't get a tracking number when calling ...

Re: Civilian 2 Wish List - what would be today's perfect Civilian?
I love FRN,,,but not for this knife. I prefer a little more weight with a knife, especially with the Civilian and the way you can use it. A little more weight feels better in the hand. As far as a front choil on the Civilian I feel it gives the user a little more finger protection and perhaps dexter...

Re: Civilian 2 Wish List - what would be today's perfect Civilian?
A Civilian XL...I would say add an inch longer on the blade...it would still fit into pants pockets and cargo pockets. Two finger choils...one near the top and the second near the bottom...this would give you a second hand position and extend the reach of your blade. Clip position set higher and lo...

Re: Favorite ( or best IYO ) fixed blade.
Southfork for me but I look at it from the standpoint of skinning and cleaning game and fish. If you are looking for more of a camping/utility knife then the temperance might be the call. That new leather sheath for the Temperance is indeed a thing of beauty. That Southfork is nice, I tend to pick ...

Re: Civilian 2 Wish List - what would be today's perfect Civilian?
The Civillian is a unique piece indeed, currently looking this bag girl over I could go for: 1. I like the blade shape EXACTLY as it stands (keep it original, other knifemakers already copying it so keep it the same, perhaps a black blade) 2. Jimping for the thumb and add a choil 3. Tip up carry 4. ...

Hi Sal, really looking forward to the clip point Jumpmaster, keep bringing the clip points and more fixed blades! Thank you Hi Branden, We appreciate the depth of the conversation. Re: Byrd Fixed Blade
Clip point, Rhino style at least 4" blade, I have to have full tang. Perhaps 8CR13 or even better CTS-BD1 steel, Nice Bi-Directional FRN grip. Can it happen, ya never no!!

I'm carrying a Raven 2 today.

Hi Sal, really like the Raven 2. I think I read that CTS-BD1 is similar to Gingami 1 steel? Beefy sharp blade on this Raven 2, thanks.
