Re: Knives designed for women: Women chime in
My GF has a lot of knives, and mostly carries the orange DF2 because of her silly girl pockets on most of her clothes that are sometimes only an inch or two deep. She usually has a couple larger knives in her purse... We both apparently carry multiple knives.

Re: Caly 3 HAP40 dropped
Mine was a little gritty, as was my most recent 3.5... However, both broke in quickly and are very smooth now.
Caly blades ride on the steel liners rather than washers, so it can feel quite a bit different until it breaks in.

Re: Sage 1 & Sage 5: A visual comparison
I really appreciate the fact that the Sage5 does not have a recess for a liner lock on one side of the handle like the Sage1 and Sage2. In fact, the Sage5 ergos are most like the Sage4 (Sage3 has the extra handle height). This plus the great feel of nested liners makes for my favorite in-hand Sage. ...

Re: Seeking an EDC recommendation
Great recommendations. If you want USA made, the Native5 and Para3 or going to be your best bet for a smaller knife (unless you like the quirky Wolfspyder). Manix2 LW is a real winner if you want a bigger knife to rotate in. If you're willing to leave the "Earth" engraving behind, I'd say ...

Really tempting. What a deal compared to the BBS smurf. Their $20 discount really encourages flipping.

Always excited to see a new Chaparral, and this one looks like it could potentially dethrone the CF Chap as one of the most practical knives I own. Pre-ordered.
