I just cut through an empty heavy plastic half gallon maple syrup jug with my brand new Caly3 to retrieve toys my son shoved down through the small opening. It worked beautifully.

Thanks for that explanation. If Spyderco did a sprint run, I just might have to buy one and check it out. It's hard to judge a knife without handling it first.
