Dear lord. This is an odd thread, particularly for this forums. It's just a new knife model. If you don't like it then don't buy it. Live and let live.

I personally hope Spyderco makes $$ on it so they can continue making lots of interesting models for me to pick and choose from.

I can understand people being upset thinking they were getting something scarce. On the upside hopefully they are selling like gangbusters and spyderco is making a lot of money on them in a down economy.

Spyderco ProVenator -- I lost one in a tax cab in Chicago 9 years or so ago. I have missed it every since.

I really like the bugs! I particularly like the gold clip one.

Treat yourself to a CF BG-42. I have one and love it. The CF is understated and very cool.

I am honestly more excited about a larger ball lock manix than other spydie that has come out. I love my manix and my D'allara - a larger marriage of the two would really be the ultimate for me... except maybe for a solid TI framelock milli :)

Looks to be out of stock now. I picked the right day to swing by the spydie forums! :) I cheaped out and shipped ground...now the torturous wait begins. I honestly thought I didn't have a shot at these at a normal price.

MY CF BG42 is by *far* one of my favorite daily carries. I highly rec it.
