Re: 2017 - Lightweight/FRN Chaparral
Also, still really hoping to see this platform used for some sprints. I thought I had read somewhere that Sal developed the Chaparral series to showcase different handle materials much like the Sage series was developed to showcase different locking mechanisms. Not sure if this would mean there cou...

Re: 2017 - Lightweight/FRN Chaparral
I do like the idea of using a texture like the Urban. Agree that the "grid" pattern on the slippies is hard to beat I totally agree, the grid pattern on my Urban provides just the right amount of grip without being too overbearing for light tasks. I’m sure we will be happy with whatever S...

Re: 2017 - Lightweight/FRN Chaparral
Do we have any idea what the pattern will be on the FRN? I love the bi-directional texturing but on a gents folder like this I wouldn't mind something smoother, say something like the Centofante 3 or even the Urban/Pingo/Spy-DK.

Re: Practical knives that need to be made
I like the sound of these two! I'll also add linerless contoured G10 Native 5 with a wire clip and Cruwear or LC200N steel!ejcr98 wrote: DF2 PE in bright red scales with LC200N. .... Delica 5 (wire clip) navy blue scales, PE LC200N.

I would love to see a picture of those scales!
I hope this thread gets noticed by the Spyderco staff and we could see what they think about the possibility of a sprint..

Re: Bradley Air Sprint?
I always think if they put a wire clip on it they could appeal to both parties because people who want a clip would have it and people who don't would be able to take it off..

Re: Bradley Air Sprint?
What difference would there be in cost if this was made in XHP vs the original M4?

Re: Bradley Air Sprint?
It sounds like if this knife had a few changes (G10/micarta scales, stainless steel, wire pocket clip, stronger detent) it would be a good seller! I could get on board with a knife like that!

Bradley Air Sprint?
I have really fallen in love with this knife and think it would be cool if they would re-release it as a sprint. If it had a steel like CTS-XHP and G10 or FRN handles it could bring the cost down to a more user friendly price. Anyone think this would gain traction or would it be a bust? Other sugges...

There is a lightweight Chaparral coming but I think it will keep the XHP blade steel.carrot wrote:Maybe we can see an FRN Chaparral with M4?

Would that shade of grey be distinguishable enough from the Maxamet Native?JRinFL wrote:I think it is safe to assume that a Cru-wear Native will be in the same gray as the rest of the family.

Personally, I would like to see a muted tone like a dark green or maroon. A really dark grey would look cool too. What are your thoughts?twinboysdad wrote:What color would you suggest?

Re: Sal, would a Native 5 LW in Cruwear
I like the look of the new KC dark green G-10 Native 5- maybe a similar color in FRN would be nice for a Cruwear Native 5 LW?
