Is it just me, I find this lightweight Manix closes with a much louder CLACK compared to the regular Manix, especially at the point when the blade is fully closed. The spring seems to be tighter too

Hello Kristi, while we are at this thread, is it possible for you or some other person to explain the advantages of using this new composite as opposed to pure S90V. Thanks.

Although I am also interested in this knife a quantity this low would almost ensure that the price is not cheap. I have not even started thinking about the secondary market prices. Oh well.

The only considerations that are holding my purchase are related to the ease of sharpening/reprofiling this knife:

(1) How hard is it to sharpen the Tuff? I only have the Sharpmaker.
(2) The OP reprofiled his knife. Can this be done with the Sharpmaker?
