Re: Spyderco spotted in Ukraine, but which one?

"30mm AP round that failed to penetrate Ukrainian body armor"
The level of stupidity of this statement is mind boggling.
Dude would have been lucky to be found in less that 30 pieces if hit by a 30.

Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC

Even if they are a flipper, why should you guys care? It’s not like they're hoarding them or destroying them specifically so no one else can have them. The people who want them still get them, they just pay a little more money for it. Think of it as a convenience fee - Fight the crowds to get one l...

Re: Whoever sharpened this PM2 deserves a raise

They need to hire that robot in Seki ;)
The DLT Cruwear Endela I got had some of the most uneven edge grinds I've ever seen, especially at the tip.
Easy enough to fix. Three hundred or so strokes on the diamond rods should do the trick.

Re: 15V Shaman!

I do really like how they match, gives it a custom feel. I'm not too sure about the brown though...might be a dye candidate, have to see it in person. I wasn't sure about the brown either, but it's a lot nicer in person. I just got mine in, and having it in-hand has changed my mind about the brown....

52100 for the win.
LC200N is also a great steel to sharpen
I do like the feel of Cruwear on the SM rods. It feels like you are making progress with every stroke

Re: 15V Shaman!

Boy do I dislike the KSF search function. I put in the data and it brings back 275 results most of which have nothing to do with Shaman or Spyderco ! Anyone else have this experience? Re: Over sharpening?

I find if the edge held straight down wont hold on my fingernail held at 45 degrees to the edge, I need to run it across the sharpmaker for 10 or so strokes. It's usually back to shaving sharp at that point.

Re: Para 3 Lovefest, Where Did It Go?

As an owner of seven Para 3's, I'm over the knife. I bought all mine based on steel variations, but find I dont carry any of them like other models I own. The poor lanyard hole placement vs clip location on the G10 models is one reason. The single washer, lack of blade centering and weak wire clip m...

If DLT did a SSS in OD green and DLC cruwear, I’d be in heaven
The Stretch is such a great knife. Basically a backlock LW PM2

Beautiful crowned spine and a great all around knife
Mine sits in the kitchen windowsill for opening packages and gets carried on more gentlemanly occasions.

Re: LC200N showdown

I only have three LC200N models. Love the steel. Takes a great edge, easy to sharpen and is tough enough for most tasks. In order of my liking: Atlantic Salt PE - Sits in my tool chest and gets used for most garage tasks. Hard to lose due to the mango color. Supe easy to sharpen due to the sheepsfoo...

Re: Respectful feedback and ideas regarding 15V sprint runs

I got a 15V PM2 and a Manix. I could have grabbed more PM2s the way they were dropping on Friday but I kept my powder dry for other things I need.
Nothing wrong with the process IMHO. The forum notification thread works and I received email notifications from DLT when they dropped as well.

Re: Now that Sal has mentioned that possibility: Chaparral FRN variants? (blade shape, color, steel...) - your proposals

Cruwear and the DLT OD green frn would be the bomb
Second alternative would be LC200N in yellow or mango green frn for a more hi vis model
