When I look at some of my Seki knives from several years ago the f&f is noticeably 'tighter'. I have heard that a lot of the artisans who worked there have retired. I obviously have no way of knowing if this is true or not.

This is what I am hoping for too. The Maniago plant did such a great job on the Urban I think that they would just kill it on a Pattada with a K390 upgrade.

I picked up a Schempp Bowie on a 20% off ebay deal and only recently started carrying it. It rides really easily in the pocket and the f&f is absolutely perfect. I know that the common assumption is that the hawkbill Dfly will stick with traditional yellow. I believe that Sal mentioned that there was a blue Dragonfly in the works? I wonder if the hawkbill could be this model. I hope so. I think the H1 and blue would make a great combination.

I would be in for an Endura and a Dfly on a Seki sprint of anything. I really like the earthy yellow 'gringo. Good call.

I enjoy carrying my $102 Caly 3.5 all of the time. It's a knife that I wouldn't have bought except for this thread.

I would suggest moving the PE Lil Matriarch WAY up on your list. I think that it may be the most underrated and under appreciated EDC Spyderco ever made. I think that it was sold with way to much of a SD flavor. It's like a Delica plus.

I caved. I originally purchased the Delica and am liking it so much I ordered the Endura to go with it. I've never had an Endura, so hopefully I will like it as much as the Delicas I have. I just wanted to give a shout out to GPK. First time that I've bought from them and the customer service and delivery were absolutely A+. This knife is an absolute gem.

Me too. I usually just fold up the loss and go on. It really sucks though.

It would definitely be my Ladybug. It's the lightest Spydie that I own and I wouldn't want anything slowing me down while I was bravely running away.

Any color but orange. To me, on a knife that large it would be like a carrying a Halloween decoration in your pocket. I voted for earth brown but foilage green would be pretty cool.
