Chad, Thats it! Perfect evolution of the Dodo. One concern I have had about the hawk blades is overlong blade length. For instance the Civilians long blade seems it could snag and pop out of a less than perfect grip. A short blade and normal length grip delivers more power, leverage and control IMHO...

+1 for vg-10, easy to sharpen and keep a good edge. its my benchmark for knife steels.

Been there myself a long time ago, Had a Cold Steel SRK that followed me everywhere. Cheap, solid blade. Was issued a Delica! Today, there are so many good choices, Native, Paramillie, Dodo, DAllara rescue, all serrated.

The compression lock is the best. Never had a failure. Thanks for the video, time to practice

It appears the Dodo is a great platform for mods. Looks like it is to be the "modular" knife Sal wanted in the Poliwog.
I kept the hook on mine for stripping wire and opening bubble packs.

I would never guess it were part of the Dodo if it was displayed alone. Do computers do this or does Eric and Sal sit around hand filing prototypes until the fit and shap...

Native is my #1 pick. I would like to see what the colors look like, I voted for green, but silver-grey, black or dark blue are OK. Whats coyote brown?
I just bought yet another Native, a black blade version, for no real reason at all other than I love the Native.
