I've got a couple of CE Mini SOCOM's and a couple of the new PE Mini SOCOM Elite's - 1 manual and 1 Auto. They are excellent, well made knives, the fit and finish on them is amazing.

I think they were made for a Swedish? Everest Expedition team. I seem to recall Sal saying something about it. Here's the post from Sal, "The Everest model is a Worker blade in a Pro-Venator (Pro-Grip) handle that was made for the Japanese market only to commemorate the Swedish climbing team re...

They wouldn't send it to me - kept asking for more money when I had already paid, again, for the shipping then they ignored the dozen or so email I sent to them asking for my money back, but they kept my money and the flashlight - they ar...

Welcome back Kaizer, what do ye think of the blue g-10 police mockup?

My dad was born in Poona. My grandad lived there when he was stationed with the Scottish Black Watch Army Regiment.

I too have had nothing but excellent service from Mr Hasegawa of Hamonoichiba.com.

There may be a customs charge, depends on the company taking the package.

When communicating with Naohiko, keep the words simple as he uses a translator.

Al ~ Naohiko never listed them on the site when I asked (in pidgin english) if he had PE Harpys and he said he had a few left. It's worth asking him, there must be loads of knife shops in Seki city and most probably there are rare PE Harpys gatherin dust on a shop shelf, somewhere....

Here's a Police Uniform Dark Blue and another with Olive Drab coloured scales with bug inbossed in the handles but that would probably be too fiddly to do.

Perhaps the Anniversary Model could look like this, flat ground, etched bug logo on the blade, silver bug on the handle and of course the blue G-10 scales....anything else?
