^^ Bloke’s got it. I sometimes hold the knife closer to vertical and just work on the tip to “catch up” with the work in the ear of the knife.

Re: Knives I wish I had bought two of
I wish I had a backup of the BHQ Para 3 in M4. Its my go-to favorite. It was my first Spydie after a long hiatus... what a way to come back. I have the rex45 para 3, and Rex 45 seems like a better M4, so maybe I’m covered. Haven’t used it yet though...

Re: Reveal 3 Released!
The Shaman!! Would LOVE to see this combo on just about any/every other Spdyerco knife. Love Cru, Love Micarta! Yes. Yes. Yes. Word! Siren looks cool; in it's simplicity of shape it kinda reminds me of the Goddard (if not exactly). It's very close. I thought it was a Wayne Goddard salt at first. Lo...

Re: Reveal 3 Released!
I was looking forward to the cruwear shaman, but I think the star of this reveal is that stretch! Looks like a giant manbug / one eyed jack! I like that blade *very* much.

Re: Where is the Urban Coyote?
Just touched mine up on the Doublestuff 2 last night. Quick few passes on the ceramic side, couple passed on the suede pouch that I’ve loaded with green compound. Back to shaving sharp. It’s a very easy steel to maintain. My doublestuff seems perfectly matched to this steel... can't say that for mo...

Hydraulic oils are pretty nasty. They are also generally hydrophilic, and can absorb through the skin. I’d avoid them like the plague.
