Will the TiCN coating perform as well as the DLC used for the test though?

Re: TiCN Blade Coating
Thanks guys. Does the coating cause any drag when slicing? I was actually thinking that it would scratch less easy than the bare steel of H1 as well.

TiCN Blade Coating
Hey guys. I was getting ready to pull the trigger on a Pacific Salt. I can't decide whether to get the coated or uncoated blade. I have no experience with TiCN coating. How well does it hold up over time? Does is rub off like some other coatings. I am fine with a plain blade but the coating looks go...

Whats w/d? Excuse the ignorance. its actually multiple burs. That's why I was thinking of taking the drimmel to it. I don't see how sanding wont take forever.

What kind of sandpaper would you recommend using?bearfacedkiller wrote:You shouldn't need a Dremel. Sandpaper wrapped around anything thin and round. A bamboo skewer works well. A toothpick or piece of metal coat hanger could work too. Anything small and round really.

Manix 2 question
Hey guys I recently purchased a manix 2 blurple s110v. I love the knife. I took of the scales to replace them and I noticed there is a tiny bead of metal on almost all of the cutouts in the liners. Its a tiny bur on the edge of the cutouts. I looked closer and they actually make the scales sit sligh...

Re: Manix titanium ball bearing cage
Totally in. How're the other manix mods going?[/quote Found a standoff that I think will work. Gonna find out for sure tomorrow. Or at this hour today now I guess. Nice. Can I ask which standoff you went with? Have another untouched M2 that I might tinker with eventually. I also did see a post on a...

Re: Manix titanium ball bearing cage

That's why the paypal is higher. He tried to explain but I wasn't getting what he said due to the language barrie...

Re: Manix titanium ball bearing cage
The link should work now but they would look just like the black plastic ones only they would be titanium. He isn't looking for money up front just wanted to know how many people would potentially buy one. I have emailed him again asking the price and am waiting to hear back. I'll post that when I h...

Re: manix 2 s100v
I find the balance on the skeletonized Manix 2s to be just a touch better with the lighter liners. (I have the CTS-XHP and M4 models). I assume an S110V would be the same on that count at least. Maybe I will order on of these if I am enthused with the S110V PM2 I have on preorder (I got in a little...
