Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

You clearly never played football. This isn't something to joke about. I don't even know where to begin with someone with your mentality on the subject. I played from when I was 7-22 years old in college, there's certain codes to the game that you don't break. Yea, people grab facemasks and open ha...

Re: NFL Season: 2019-2020

Your absolutely right. Can you even imagine what wouldve happened had Garrett hit Rudolph on the head , with the crown of that helmet ? It may have killed him. Those helmets are very heavy and extremely hard. A real lethal weapon in someone like Garrett's hands. They got these helmets designed all ...

Re: Please Help Me Buy a Flashlight!

I highly recommend the olight s2r. I think they cost about $70. Fantastic light. Good clip to carry. It comes with lithium ion battery that recharges with a magnet on the bottom. Other end is a usb. The magnet also can be used to stick it to something like a car hood if you needed free hands. It can...

SE Shaman or Caribbean?

Ok, crucarta didn’t happen but was thinking I should try the Shaman. Sure, there are other sprints and exclusives coming but why not try the serrated version? It would make a good yin to the yang of a future sprint, right? But if I’m going to go with a nice serrated blade, shouldn’t I just get the C...

Hoping a few emails are sitting in spam folders and after 48 hours, a few more will be available. Not likely, but it could happen.

Re: Your "return ethics"?

Think there is no ethical dilemma here if you are following the return policy. Maybe there is a restocking fee. Maybe you just get credit. It’s fine. Return or don’t. But yes, return it in unused condition. I tersely return stuff because I’m just lazy and not strapped for cash. Some businesses just ...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Was anyone here lucky enough to win a lottery pick at BladeHQ? I was not, as I expected. Sadly, I expect to see another surge of flippers on Ebay and Bladeforums. Well, it’s mid day and nothing. Maybe I should have signed up my kid, girl friend and dog in the lottery. Hopefully some of the fine peo...

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run

A good video on YouTube comparing a lot of Mules by Cedric & Ada Gear and Outdoors. https://files.catbox.moe/amdrhl.jpeg Darn missing 3v and 4v Interesting pd1 over 100 cuts more than cruwear. Thought people said they're the same. Don’t know. Alloy-wise, it’s basically the same. Cruwear was pre...

Slysz swayback could also be done as slip joint. Seems logical as the swayback is a modern take on a traditional model.

Re: Bento Box Customer Service...

BBS =/= Customer Service. How they stay in business is beyond me. I refuse to play their game. By having products nobody else has. Hate to say it, but as mad as I am this experience wouldn’t stop me from buying from them again if I want the knife badly enough. I understand that you had the same iss...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Anyone here got one from the DLT lottery, granted there were only 15 pieces? That one was supposed to pick winners yesterday. As JRinFL stated above, probably ever flipper in the world figured out a way to game the lottery system. It's like when I was in HS and my buddy got to shoot the half-time 3...

Re: What am I doing wrong with the sharpmaker?

If I’m having trouble, I wash the stones. The build up can hamper sharpening. I wash with scrubby sponge in sink. Others use bar keepers friend. Some rub the stones together too to get to get a fresh sharpening surface. Don’t know if that really works though. Also, if you are several sharpenings in,...

Yes please. The wood with bolster model is so hard to find and expensive when you do. A second chance at these would be great. Love the sage model and micarta would do this one justice. Good suggestion.

Smokey Mountain Knife Works has the Hanan for $115.83. I couldn't pass up that price and I finally added Spyderco's first compression lock flipper to my collection :D

Thanks. That really is too good to pass up.
