Re: 2020 Seconds Sale - BREAKING NEWS

Good idea, steelcity. Hopefully that is part of the plan.

On top of it, the power just went out at my house. Sigh....Lol.

Re: 2020 Seconds Sale - BREAKING NEWS

Not surprised at all to hear the usual scalpers are trying to cheat with bots. Such a bummer with literally every drop in the EDC community anymore. I wonder if it would be possible to make a really annoying checkout experience full of captchas to foil the bots and make it not worth trying to use th...

Re: Expand Golden, CO made offerings?

The Seki FRN models are still my all-around favorites after all these years. I love the Golden products as well, and since I live near the factory, it's always a cool feeling to buy something locally made, but I would be really sad if Spyderco ever stopped making the FRN classics.

Re: Official 2021 Discontinued List

I'm guessing there must not have been much stock in the pipeline on the ZDP Dragonfly...I'm not seeing them in stock anywhere, and the ones that are listed don't seem to have been discounted.

I wonder if they're going to have any new stock on closeout at the Seconds Sale.

Another vote for a Spy27 regular production model.

Re: Li'l Temperance 3: A (not so) li'l review

British Racing Green (BRG) with ZDP or K390 would be on my wishlist for the FRN model.

I don't really have any complaints on the build quality of my particular LT3, but I am a little sad that it didn't stay a Golden made model.

Re: Sage 5.2

FWIW, I'm with ugaarguy - a Sage with integral compression lock would be just about my ideal knife. (The only knife I carry more than the Sage is my UKPK.)

My original integral lock ATR is one of the knives I regret selling the most. It really was a cool lock.

Re: Dlc sells out faster than satin

Because I stopped wanting DLC. About 5 years ago I begged and begged for more DLC and couldn't get it. Then I started modding my knives and realized it's easier to grind on blades when they're not coated and now DLC is everywhere. Lol...reminds me of how I spent my youth getting in trouble for skat...

Re: Anything that can replace Chaparral?

I slightly prefer the UKPK (or Urban) over the Chaparral as I find that I really don't need a lock when doing any light tasks around the house or office.

They're not quite as thin as the Chappie (although the Urban might be close), but they cut and carry beautifully.

I'm surprised we still haven't seen a standard production Blurple/110v version.

Re: Spyderco 2019 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

And i don't think BBS ever sold out quick on a sprint. Many don't seem to like them as a company. Even though the K390 price seems reasonable for Americans to me. Since they don't offer free shipping and returns there is no "out of jail free card" for any flipper for when a sprint isn't p...

Re: Centofante

I'd be absolutely ok with the Centofante 4 just like it is if it only had a screw pivot. I'll even be happy with VG10. Agreed. I think the design should be exactly the same as the original except with all the build improvements the newer FRN models have gotten, like the screw construction. Of cours...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

I missed out on the M4 and 4V, so I'm glad I got an order placed with the mother ship for the Cru-carta Shaman this afternoon. I look forward to the Rex 45 Rosewood version as well. Hopefully, it's a sprint, not an exclusive. Yep, can confirm SFO has them on display. I was in there today looking fo...

Re: K390 pm2 Launch Shenanigans

I'm kinda' straddlin' the fence with this one. Worked 11.5 hours without a moment of downtime the day it was dropped. Was happy to see when I got home that it didn't sell out in 75 seconds and that it was still available. What a surprise!!! Here it is 24 hours later and it is still available and I'...

Re: Reveal Three Sprints Sell Out Timeframe

If the St Nicks sellout is any indication, the Cruwear Shaman is going to be $400 on eBay in no time.

The Stretch on the other hand will probably be a slow mover since it's VG10. (Plus I'm in the weird minority who likes the original blade shape.)

Re: Have you had a folding knife open on accident?

I haven't had any issues with locks/detents failing, but I've had the waved Endura get accidentally deployed multiple times when the clip caught on something and it was yanked from my pocket. That's definitely...awkward.
