Zabrewolf, I understand the predicament that you are in with the high levels of heat! Might I suggest any of the Spyderco knives with G-10 handles? FRN handles would most definitely melt to you or your equipment once heated up. The Lil Temperance has this G-10 handle. The handle is nice in the sense...

SII,
Thanks for the motivation! I am reminded of the time that I was a kid...there were times that I was forced to sit on two booster chairs at the same time. No joke! *small man with big heart*

PsychGrad,
FYI, as of 5-24-02 9:50AM, there are only 491 in quantity at Spyderco. If you want it might want to put in an order (SKU for it is JBMP). Have a good one. Do you do consultations for my high self esteem? J/K

ATE, GO NAVY! And yes I have met with Mike Hayes in the warranty department. We have had wonderful discussions about politics, religion and family...and no issues! He is a former teacher for history. I also am a former teacher (secondary education or high school) for history. This is probably the re...

Samo,
Here's an idea, I'm thinking the best Father's Day card you could get for your dad is the Spydercard in either Plain Edge or Combination Edge. But, what do I know? I only sell these things!

Toothed, Mind you, having a job at Spyderco I have already frozen a large pool of my own blood at the nearest hospital. I've already cut myself with a large gash on my left palm. But, life is good when you get to play, sell, and talk about Spyderco Knives. Thanks! S & S Oddity is, in my opinion,...

Blades, Hmmmmmm, my next purchase....So many to choose from. I have examined the Chinook, Gunting, Harpy, Merlin, and Lil Temperance. I am focusing my attention more towards the Lil Temperance more than any of the rest. I forgot to mention on my last post that I have the Fred Perrin (this is one wel...

Dialex, I must admit myself that R&D would be a fantastic placement. As far as the Romania location, after checking on the last location, I would have to say that there are no Romanian active accounts. If you need a listing of closest dealers & distributors, please contact me via my e-mail! ...

To the Great and Powerful folks of the Spyderco Forum! Blades, My first experience with a Spyderco knife was right before joining the Navy. I purchased a Delica with FRN handle, plain edge (Plain for everyday carry, seems to cut my food verses 'butchering' it). It served me well. I still had it when...

Rico, I mainly "deal" with Dealers and Distributors directly. But, occassionaly I do receive calls, e-mails, and faxes from the End User. But, for the large part I answer questions and/or concerns from everyone. If you need to get an answer quickly, please refer to my e-mail: tquaas@spyder...
