That seems to be pretty unusual. Just looking at mine, the clip is certainly not bent and the end of the clip (opposite end to the screws) sits flush with the knife. I would order another clip - it should definitely not need to be bent into shape. As for the clip snapping, if enough force is applied...

Yeah, the Spyderhawk sounds like it would be a great knife. The larger hawkbill blade in H1 really appeals to me. I have a Tasman which I usually take out on the boat with me, but I find that the blade isn't quite long enough for my tastes (EDC at the moment is a Superhawk). I don't mind the hollow ...

I'm a fan of FFG, makes a much better knife all round. The hollow grind is not too bad, it is relatively easy to sharpen and is a good slicer. The saber grind on the other hand, I think (and this is my opinion only) is just terrible. I think that if the Delica IV (PE) had almost any other grind (and...

I don't know that I am too keen on wooden handles. I think it is going to come down to Rock Salt, Moran or one of the smaller Hossoms.sal wrote:I regret to inform you that the Bushcraft UK models just introduced by Spyderco are no longer shipping.

Fixed Blades & Your Experiences
Hi Guys, I wanted to have a discussion about fixed blades and the experiences people have had and what you look for in a fixed blade. I've been thinking more and more about them and what I would like in a knife. At the moment I only have the Forrester, which is one **** of a knife, but I am reluctan...

I use my Millie when I am out doing emergency service type work. It has never let me down and has proven itself to be an excellent knife. I do think that the Millie cries out to be used though. I have used mine on 16mm rope, vines and bamboo, kernmantle rope, gyprock ceilings, stripping dirt encrust...

I haven't had too many problems with it. I loaded it on my laptop without too much trouble. The only problem I have is that I can no longer tether my phone (E71) to it. For some reason it just does not want to connect (even though, via USB or bluetooth) Nokia PC Suite works and recognises the phone ...

That Kauri looks fantastic! I'd definitely order one if they were available. You've got a couple of pieces of interesting wood there. The zebrawood looks like it could produce some interesting results. There are a couple of pieces down the bottom of your first pic that also look like they'd make nic...

I only recently discovered the Stretch. I have a couple of Delica's which I always thought would be great if only they had a flat grind. Then I saw a Stretch for sale and it replaced my Caly as the knife I usually EDC (around the shops/office). It is a great design and has everything you'd want - li...

Windows 7 Fun
Don't know if anyone has done this already, but in Windows 7 you can turn the desktop photo into a slide show. I have pictures of each Kopa on mine and every 5 minutes it changes to a different Kopa. Pretty nice time waster!
