That seems to be pretty unusual. Just looking at mine, the clip is certainly not bent and the end of the clip (opposite end to the screws) sits flush with the knife. I would order another clip - it should definitely not need to be bent into shape. As for the clip snapping, if enough force is applied...

Definitely prefer the low riders (carrying a Caly atm). I usually wear cargo pants which have a pocket cover where I like to keep my knife and the wire clip knives seem to fit in much better than the others. Doesn't stop me from carrying my other :spyder: s though. :)

I don't know that I am too keen on wooden handles. I think it is going to come down to Rock Salt, Moran or one of the smaller Hossoms.

I've started a thread when I've had a problem or question about one of my knives. 9 times out of 10 I get very well thought out and considered responses. I've only ever had to contact Spyderco once (after the thread recommended it) and the problem was pretty quickly resolved.

My Forester seems to be fine, no spots, the edge is very sharp and the screws are flush with the handle. I haven't had any problems at all with it.

Yep, I have one and need another one now. I really like it. Given I use most of my knives, I find it easier than storing them in the boxes. Takes up less space too (although I have kept most of the boxes).

Don't know if anyone has done this already, but in Windows 7 you can turn the desktop photo into a slide show. I have pictures of each Kopa on mine and every 5 minutes it changes to a different Kopa. Pretty nice time waster!

A very tough question. I most often edc a Stretch SE now, but when I need to do some serious hard cutting (on a frequent basis), the Military is the one to do it. So, despite it being a little big for EDC, I'd have to say the Millie.

I think a caged ball lock would be excellent. The OP's drawings on page 1 look great (even like the colour). I'd love a run of Yojimbo's to be done as it is a knife I would really like to own and my chances of getting an NIB are pretty slim at the moment.

I wouldn't mind a Catherman, it looks like a very useful knife. There was one at a store down the road, but the price is way too much (something like $190!). A pity, it could come in very handy.
