Spyderholes cut by.....?
How are the Syderholes cut in our blades?
I am guessing they are drilled/machined, but not drilled all the way through in a single pass as this would make a mess of the breakout side; instead, two holes meeting, one from each side.

Hey Sal, are there any plans for carbide strikers, Ala MoD, in the pipeline? I am not sure of other models, as I do not own examples to examine, but the G-10 Police could be easily modified in this capacity by replacing the stainless spacer (the thick one) w/ a slightly longer, pointed carbide one. ...

I realize Gunting is designed specifically for the task, however, I am rather small of stature. At 5'6"/155# and as yet without any training, I subscribe to the longish blade school of thought; not only for the reach, but for the intimidation factor which may preclude actually having to use it....
