Delica 4 Sprints / Exclusives / Limited Editions List

If there’s already been a thread covering this topic, feel free to point me in the right direction and apologies. I’d like to purchase some Delica 4’s, but have a plan to hunt down the more rare releases. I’m looking for a list of all Delica 4 Sprints, Exclusive, and Limited Editions that have been ...

Re: competition for the Para 3?

I will certainly take a look at the Chap. Just a quick look shows it to be about the same size as the Para 3 LWT, just a bit lighter, decent steel, finger choil and comes in Gray Scales, which is good, because I'm looking for something other than black, since the Para 3 LWT is black. Thanks for the...

Re: competition for the Para 3?

Funny, you quoted MY (Wartsteins) post, but actually it looks like you quoted "Edward scissorhand" ;) Anyway, yes, I personally prefer a good midbacklock over a complock by far. But even if you don't consider locks, the Delica is just great for me. Despite having liners still lighter than...

Re: competition for the Para 3?

Does not get much lighter than, well, the lightweight version of the Para 3... ;) lol, truth But amongst small comp. lock knives just imho the new Sage 5 LW is a better knife then the Para 3 LW, other than being just a tad heavier (but for that you get full liners). Certainly a nice knife...S30V, fu...

Re: competition for the Para 3?

If you are partial to compression locks, which I completely understand, I am as well, I don't believe you will find a better knife for the size, materials, build quality and price outside of the Para 3. Regarding weight, staying at a 3" blade, you will be hard pressed to come in under the 2.4o...

Re: Para3 lightweight stiff

Mine was pretty good out of the box, however, it did not fall shut, so I did the usual loosening of the pivot screws and a dab of oil...perfect now.

Re: Most Fidget Friendly Knife

I like the slow, smooth, deliberate opening of a back lock and the satisfying click that it makes when it falls into place. I fidget with my back locks a lot. I think of it as "slow fidget." Totally agree. Even though I couldn’t “spydie flick” my Delica 4’s, at least not very well, I ofte...

Re: Para 3 lightweight

any tips for re-centering the blade? Mine is off to the clip side probably about at the 30% mark Let me lead off by saying that I absolutely love the Para 3 LW. It has been my daily carrier since it has dropped. However, my Para 3's centering is off by quite a bit and has been since day one... Para...

Re: Para 3 lightweight

Been following the Para 3 LW’s journey since the beginning and am very excited that they have started shipping. Hope my experience is as good as SpydieGirl88’s, though first impressions seem to be all over at this point...such is with any brand new drop I suppose. I was able to grab a BNIB on trade ...

Re: Will the Paramilitary FRN replace the Delica?

I would guess for those, such as myself, that don’t necessarily like backlocks, the Para 3 could be viewed as a better outlet, and those that don’t necessarily like compression locks would stick right where they are...with the Native 5 LW or the Delica 4 LW.

Re: Waiting On My First Luminox!!

I was looking at Luminox and a couple other tritium watches, but I ended up getting a GWS which is the parent company that makes Traser watches. It was a good watch but it got replaced by a Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium and it never leaves my wrist. Hamilton was another watch mentioned in a lot of ...

Re: Waiting On My First Luminox!!

They arrived!! When I ordered, I was looking for a watch that would check off different boxes of criteria, one of which was some bit of orange against black. Currently, Luminox only has two that come in around a $200 price range, which was another box I was looking to check. When ordering, I knew I ...

Re: Waiting On My First Luminox!!

I think Luminox watches are really KOOL.. BUT.. I have super skinny wrists so the look like a big wall clock on my wrists... DARN!!! John I too have smaller writs, and a lot of the Luminox watches are very large. However, the Navy SEAl Colormark comes in at 44mm and weighs less than 2oz. I’ve heard...
