Re: Premium delica?

I would look at the Hap40/pakkawood delica that is available now, doesn't get much more premium than that when it comes to a Delica.

Or as said above, the Mantra 1.

Re: 2018 Alistair Phillips!

I'd like to echo MichaelScott's post. I, too, was totally ready to immediately buy a Phillips Redback until I got to the specs in Mr. Blonde's much anticipated Amsterdam Show post. I live in CA (Los Angeles) where the folder carry limit is 3". How disappointed am I? This Phillips has everythin...

we don't need 4 way clip options, what we need is right hand tip up only. :D

I Really like this more than the BHQ offerings, but man is it spendy, considering I got a s90v Ti/CF Millie for less.

Re: Delica 4 LWT Information For A Newbie

I have large hands, Size XXL gloves are alittle tight, the Delica 4 is "just" big enough to be a comfortable user, if it was even a touch smaller, it'd be too small, but as it is, it does work. I do prefer knives alittle larger, but I would not scoff the Delica due to its size. I will say,...

Re: Shipping of internal parts

I would just like to say, it's huge to me that Spyderco is open minded enough to consider amending parts policy, and I'd gladly pay for replacement parts when the personal need arises, i'm even willing to pay a little extra so it can be worthwhile on spyderco's end in appreciation for the service an...

Re: Mantra 1 vs Gayle Bradley (1& 2)

No mantra here, but the GB2 is an amazing slicer, its very thin immediately behind the blade due to the hollow grind. its a very stout knife and the build quality is superb, the lock isn't as combative as some people make it out to be either. also washers > berrings IMO, just less trouble, and plent...

Re: Taking apart knives

I'd just like to preface what I'm about to say: regardless if spyderco decides to stick with current policies on disassembly or not will not effect my loyalty to the company, simply put I love Spyderco products. they're the only knives I buy at this point. I build and operate AR15s as a hobby and pa...

Re: Reinhold Rhino Update

I pre-ordered from BHQ as well. This little knife hits all the marks for a must have. Any chance of a Rhino XL in the future? I think it would be the bees knees in a 3.5-4.0" blade.

Re: Red loctite

I would gladly pay 10$ per set of hardened screws.... just saying. I just mangled, but not quite stripped some black ones on an all black PM2 and it's incredibly disheartening. everything else about Spyderco's knives screams quality, why the sub par screws? Sal, I think this is a good opportunity to...

Re: Popularity of DLC and Black Washed Finishes

I would love to see Spyderco offer blackwash and stonewash options from factory, they would look great with the logo and orgin/steel engraving intact. or black nitride (surface penetrating ferric nitrocaburization) finishes, coatings on knives I don't care for.

XXL Glove size here, The Dragonfly 2 with a Lanyard is exceptional. I am gonna pick up a Tasman 2 (Delica frame) soon and see how that works as a companion blade.

Re: Any plans for a standard-sized Compression Lock Native?

I was thinking about this too, a Native 5 LW in s35vn is high on my list of knives to buy. The other day, I was pondering: FRN with nested liners, comp lock, and a wire clip. any reason it can't be done? I think it would be stellar.
