I'm not sure I understand. If the Spydercard is 5mm thick, why can't the Flatbyrd also be made in that thickness ?
Washers add 1 mm. If you abandon them and sink the caps of the axial screw into the handle, you can get a thickness of 5 mm.

As I haven't held the Flatbyrd, I have no idea how easy it is to use with the thumb. Yes, it is not always convenient to press the ...

Re: Schempp Kukri?

PS. :frowning-open-mouth Just looking around at Kukri adds and seeing tempering descriptions like this; "Hi carbon tempered steel blade, steel hardness- spine=22-25 RC, belly=45-46 RC, edge=54-55 RC." This is true. I almost cut the coin without damaging the cutting edge. http://ixbt.photo...

Re: Seki City back lock quality in 2022?

I really liked the back lock on the RockJumper. It seems to me that it works a little differently, and it's not just the lack of a David Boye dent.

Re: Spyderco catalogs and EU-import customs

I recently received a catalog not from the USA, but from somewhere in Europe. Seems to be from Norway. I don't remember anymore. I was very surprised. Didn't have to pay for anything :smlling-eyes
Thank you Spyderco!
