:spyder: S30v, I find it much easier to get it very sharp than any other steel. Dunno why I find it a lot easier than vg-10 to sharpen but I do. :spyder:

I have to say, new knife shopping was fun, but it actually made me tired looking for a new knife. After awhile, all that fancy stuff they add to knives to make it better is great, but it also just adds to the cost to the pocket knife which just gets in the way of what a knife is suppose to actually...

:spyder: A smurf killer Yoji or PPT for dedicated SD and either my leatherman juice XE6 or H1 hawkbill ladybug for actual cutting. the ladybugs always impress with their ability to cut! :spyder:

:spyder: Always give new s30v knives a light touch up on the sharpmaker initially before using, it seems to help reduce chipping. After that s30v's awesome. :spyder:

:spyder: The stretch is a skinning knife. If it were straight like a d3 or e3 it would too easily mar the hide of whatever you're skinning. :spyder:
