Re: Native Chief REX45 and S90V Sprint discussion and ANTICIPATION thread! (not alerts)

Im thinking my thumb was extra grippy the day I got mine. Because the more I handle it, the more the grip feels the same as smooth g10. I think I personally would have preferred peel ply carbon fiber as well. Its still all good though. I would have MUCH PREFERRED peel ply. This is not as grippy as ...

Re: YOJUMBO has been released!

Mine just came in today - outstanding fit, finish and materials. I really like it however it did NOT come shaving sharp out of the box. I was a little surprised and disappointed about that. However, some strop time took care of that. Mine also was “dull” by spyderco standards when it arrived, it ju...

Why did this never happen? Was it ever a possibility?
The original Manix is kind of Manix XL backlock with thicker blade stock...
The original Manix is exactly that. I’m carrying my back lock manix 2 today and absolutely love it! I wish I had an XL back lock to go with it.

Reveal knives

Is it relatively safe to assume that any knife on a “Reveal” is coming soon?

Decided to go for it. Was on the fence and decided the extra tip strength Was what I wanted over the standard yo2/Yojumbo. Can’t wait to try it

Re: Tanto PM2 Support Thread

An FYI..... anyone calling for a different steel or a sprint will be disappointed if you pass and it gets discontinued because of low sales. . Not as disappointed as I would be if I bought it in a steel I don't like. I am not going to buy one just so the numbers go up in hopes of them doing sprint ...

Re: Yojumbo?

Geez, why all the hate for S30V? It'a a very practical steel. Knife AFI's are a spoiled bunch. Hopefully it doesn't suffer the same fate as the Manix 2 back lock and so many other "base models" that didn't sell because they "only had S30V". It's a first world problem but I do ki...

Re: Gone too Soon - Manix Backlock Deserves a 2nd Chance!

Carrying mine today! One of my favorites. Lots of people asked for it, and few purchased. Sales did not warrant a sprint or further production It's one of those that I think should have been produced in Cruwear rather than S30V. It is a big beefy knife. Cruwear would have been perfect. And as the o...

Re: Yojumbo?

Amazingly pleased about this design, but s30v is going to make me wait. This is what happened to the back lock manix 2. Lots of people loved the design but not the steel choice and opted to wait for a sprint. It did not happen because sales of the knife were low and it was discontinued Buy now to s...
