I prefer ZDP, personally. Never had chipping or breaking issues, but I only use knives as knoves, Not as screw drivers or prybars. Your use and mileage may vary. I personally got disappointed in this model.
The knife handle is too blocky with hot-spots where it terminates by the blade (4 protruding corners), and it makes it nearly impossible to grab very tightly without regretting it.

A contoured handle would transform this knife to an absolute gem..!

Would love to see more Lc200N models. Full flat ground LC200N Wharnnies from the sale line would be great! More slipjoints are welcome. Especially with new, exciting and experimental steels. A Salt version would be amazing, as long as it uses LC200N. I love the steel and the UKPK so it is a no brained for me.

Maxamet would be a great option since it’d be on the affordable side of Maxamet folders (even for Spyderco).

I've heard of one broken spring but it seems extremely rare. Personally not worried about it and confident Spyderco would take care of it if the spring ever failed.
