Nice! I didn't know those. But I searched the web and found images of it, which confused me. I thought the tool would have sort of a teardrop profile (one side matching each scallop size), but it looks symmetrical. Is this really it? (from another thread): Are the upper-left and lower-right corners...

"Plain edge!" "Serrated edge!" Why never any love for the combo edge? :) Because it's better to carry two knives. One pe and the other se :) Someone mentioned here that sharpening with the SM "defaces" the SE. I agree with that; it feels like eventually it will flatten...

In a way se seems easier for me to keep tuned up because I'm just using the edge of the Sharpmaker or the 701's on basically one side of the blade as opposed to multiple stones and a strop for a pe but getting a very dull se sharp is more difficult I find. I've carried a Tasman se for a few years. I...

I'm left handed and can easily use and unlock a right handed Military with my left hand. I even carry it in my left pocket. I'm only ambi throwing a baseball but not with a knife :) The left hand Military is discontinued so I would grab it, especially if it's a good deal.

Off the top of my head I know bronze is still widely used in the electronics field. It doesn't have the same uses as yesteryear, i.e. knives, but like a lot of things they are used for multiple purposes and ones we don't know about. I think as far as knife enthusiasts go, most won't like the introdu...

I know I'm going to love it - I always carry a large and mid size - but now.... can we please get a sprint of the Jr.? Same as this one - PE, FFG, FRN, and I think brown or tan would suit this one. I like that idea. I'm really liking this sprint as, IMHO, the Goddard blade and handle shape are outs...

I don't use lanyards but a lot of my Spydies (Para 2, Manix 2, Tasman Salt) have paracord fobs. Lots of places sell different colours and sizes (550 being the most common size) of paracord. A lot of people also use leather string. People also add different type of beads. For me paracord works well. ...

You get a grip and calm down. I don't know what your problem is but I've seen you hassle too many people here.

Dye options are limited, though. You can't really blend colors (green G10 + yellow dye does not = blue) and you can't dye G10 a color that's lighter than the original color. Choices for this would be mostly limited to dark brown or black. You could obviously use something like DuraCoat to paint it ...

I will be getting one, that is if I'm at the right place at the right time. Personally I like the green scales a lot and it'll be my first chance to try s110v. For those who don't like the colour, well I think it's a bit too late for them to change it but like David said, dyeing them is the way to go.

The Navaja really is a favourite of mine. Got it when it first came out and the carraca is still going strong but even if it does break Spyderco will look after it. On a side note, it seemed that when they first came out, on some the bevel was greater than 20° a side. I ended up re-beveling mine to ...

if you count canada as international, ive bought all my sprints from cutlery shop, knife center and knife works without any problems The problem with buying from the U.S. is, it's $15-$25 for shipping and when it gets here another $20-$40 are added on top for duties when it arrives at the door. The flashlight company FourSevens has an in-house 3D printer that they use for designs of flashlights but it's not to create a fully functional flashlight. There was a story recently of a small company printing firearm parts . Right now it seems to be in its infancy but who knows what the future hol...

A permanent fix you could do is get a Dremel flat disk and sand the top of each led. That's if you have access to the leds that is. I've done this a few times and it works well to diffuse the light.

^^^ +1. That's one of the reasons why I like the Military's clip. It allows ease of grasping from the pocket even with gloves on. But I do also like some of the brighter colours like orange, blue or yellow frn. The only colours I don't like on my knives are pink and purple...even though I own the pi...
