I bet that Jumpmaster will be a mean cutter but I don't see me carrying it on a regular basis when going to the super market and such LOL.
As EDC the absolute meanest cutter is IMO the fully serrated Cricket.

Re: Is it me?
Thanks for the explanation you all. Now I know it wasn't me :D Came back here because I got a litle bored now and then with the American Traditionals alone. Since I cannot join you in buying the latest models I won't have anythin spectacular to share, but it's nice to lurk around a bit and maybe com...
Is it me?
After just coming back to this forum I noticed that it's not nearly as active as when I left in 2009.
Heck, back then I could hardly turn my back to the computer or there was already a page of new threads/comments.
And now I see threads on page one with last comment 2 days ago.
Just curious...

Thanks for taking the trouble.
Just read the whole thread so far and I've catched up a bit on the models since I left the forums in 2009.

Re: Your top 2 Spyderco folders and WHY.
1. Military in full Spyderedge because it looks like Spyderco took my hand and molded the knife after that. Furthermore it has my absolute favourite lock. Easy to operate and no developping vertical play ever. Still allowed to carry over here but might get me in trouble because of size. 2. Cricket S...

Can't help you with this one Joe for I only have one true Spydie in PE, the Original Kiwi in jigged bone Paul gifted me back then.

Re: Little Big Knife.. Big surprise
Congrats and enjoy
I have the old reverse S in full Spyderedge. Nice little knife.
Don't carry mine all that often though because it came with a fair amount of side to side play.
But great knife to fool people with ( like Sal did with me at the 2006 A'dam show LOL) :D

Re: Models We Absolutely NEED in Spyderedge
The first Spydie I got was a PE Salt1 (back in 2005) because at the time I didn't see the usefullness of a serrated blade. I thought that if I needed a saw I would go to the hardware store. Just until I tried a fully serrated Military just for the heck of it. I started to use it instead of my PE Spy...

And thanx much you all for the warm welcome back   OK that's all well and good Spydutch but you and I have work to do. Now more than ever we need more than one Ambassador of the SPYDEREDGE  It's seems as though there is a very unsettling trend developing to either reduce or GOD Fo...

Re: Dropping by and a "thanks again
Nice to meet you, Spydutch! If you don't mind me asking, is there a traditional Netherlands folder knife or fixed blade knife that was or is traditional to the people there, kindof like the puukko is traditional to the people of Finland? Unfortunately we don't have a "real Dutch traditional&qu...

Re: Serrations Discussion
From 2006 untill 2007 I worked in a printer factory in which I printed plastic labels which were to be molded on crates of beer. Lots of cuting plastic/nylon webbing and cardboard. It was a pretty relaxed company when it came to carrying knives. We were issued with boxcutters but I had the chance to...

Re: I will now EDC only SE for 6 months.
I should have come up with such a thread 5 years ago, who knows what would have happened. Maybe by now Sal and crew may have come to their senses and bring out more SE models.. I have carried ONLY fully serrated Spyderco's from about end 2005 till 2009 and never wished I had a plain edge. Heck I har...

Re: When to go clipless
Lost a Tasman Salt/SE once because it snagged out of my pocket during my job of then. Never found it back. Almost lost a Dragonfly this way. So when I carry a Spydie I carry it clipless. Don't carry big ones so loose pocket carry is not a problem. How practical a pocket clip may seem and despite the...
