I'd remove some of the grease to prevent lint issues, if that white/gray goo is grease. A little goes a long way. And Imho, you don't need lubricant right on that spot.

Can't help with the assembly though, it's been a while since I took mine apart.

Imho, and really just imho, my most used H1, the Pe Tasman Salt, really keeps it edge for longer periods after all these years. No scientific data to back it up, it's just the way it feels to me.

Personally I think ideally a business is something that someone starts in a field they enjoy then find away to make it profitable while keeping the customer base happy for the most part.
